RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Renewal Loan No. 8, 1967—£71,500

“THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and
for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan
of £71,500, authorised to be raised by the Invercargill City
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
repayment of City Council securities maturing on the 1st day
of June 1967 and the 1st day of August 1967, the said Inver-
cargill City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal
one nought five pence (.105d.) in the pound on the rateable
value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable
property in the City of Invercargill, and that the said special
rate shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 18
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Invercargill City
Council held on Wednesday, 26 April 1967.

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned
changes to the district scheme under the Town and Country
Planning Act 1953, for the Borough of Kaitaia, were
approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting
held on 26 April 1967.

The Council has also resolved that the under-mentioned
changes to the district scheme shall come into operation on
8 May 1967. Copies of the scheme changes as approved
have been deposited in the council’s office and in the public
library and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who

APPLICATION FOR A WATER-RACE LICENCE

CHARLES EDWARD BROWN, of Arthur’s Point, Queenstown,
builder, hereby gives notice that he has applied to the
Mining Warden at Cromwell for a licence to pump one head
of water from a spring on the Moonlight Track, Arthur’s
Point, along the said track and McMillan and McChesney
Roads to Lot 19, Deposited Plan No. 10369, Otago Registry,
a distance of approximately 30 chains, for domestic and
irrigation purposes.

The application will be heard in the Warden’s Court,
Cromwell, on Tuesday, the 13th day of June 1967, at 10 a.m.
Any objection to the application must be filed in the said
Warden’s Court at least three clear days before the hearing.
