MALVERN COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Housing Loan 1966—£4,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Malvern County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £4,000, authorised to be raised by the Malvern County Council under the above-mentioned Act for purchasing land and erecting a house thereon, or purchasing an existing house, the said Malvern County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0061d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the County of Malvern, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half yearly on the 1st day of May and the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan (No. 10) 1967, £150,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waikato County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £150,000, authorised to be raised by the Waikato County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Waikato County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought seven nine four of a penny (.0794d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the County of Waikato, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Waikato County Council on the 18th day of April 1967.

PIAKO COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1967, £75,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Piako County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £75,000, authorised to be raised by the Piako County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers under the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Piako County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one five two pence (.152d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the County of Piako, and that the said rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was passed at a special meeting of the Piako County Council held in the Administration Buildings and Council Chambers, 35 Kenrick Street, Te Aroha, on Monday, the 24th day of April 1967.

TARADALE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Town Planning Loan 1967—£2,675

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taradale Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £2,670, authorised to be raised by the Taradale Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for town planning purposes, the said Taradale Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five four pence (.054d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable property in the Borough of Taradale, and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan until it is fully repaid.”

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Taradale Borough Council on 26 April 1967.

RAETIHI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Act 1956, the Raetihi Borough Council resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a Loan of £10,000, authorised to be raised by the Raetihi Borough Council for the purpose of waterworks renewals, the said Raetihi Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 2.35d. in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Raetihi, such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Raetihi Borough Council at its meeting held on the 18th day of April 1967.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Primary Sewage Treatment Plant Loan 1963, £430,000—Final Instalment of £135,000

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby resolve as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and thirty five thousand pounds (£135,000), authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of the construction of a primary sewage treatment plant on land at Awapuni, the said Palmerston North City Council hereby makes a special rate of one hundred and seventy-seven one thousandths of one penny (0.117d.) in the pound (£) (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the City of Palmerston North, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CENTRAL CANTERBURY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Central Canterbury Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £200,000, to be known as No. 18 Reticulation Loan 1967, authorised to be raised by the Central Canterbury Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of further reticulating the Central Canterbury Electric Power District, the said Central Canterbury Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of one-twelfth (¹⁄₁₂) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Central Canterbury Electric Power District, comprising the whole of the Counties of Ellesmere, Paparua, Akaroa, Wairewa, Mount Herbert, Malvern, Tawera, and parts of the Counties of Heathcote and Halswell and part of Lyttelton Borough; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
