NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL

PURSUANT to section 38 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Owaka and District Memorial Community Centre District, taken on 22 April 1967, on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of £11,000, to be known as the Owaka and District Memorial Community Centre Loan 1966, for the purpose of meeting part cost of constructing a community centre building resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was…… 344
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 210
The number of informal votes was …… …… 6

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

MILTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

SPECIAL ORDER CONSOLIDATING SPECIAL RATES RESOLUTION

“THAT, in pursuance of the powers vested in the Milton Borough Council by virtue of section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the council hereby resolves to make a consolidated special rate of 11.75 pence in the pound on the unimproved value of all property within the borough, such a rate to be annually recurring and shall replace the existing special rates as specified in the Schedule hereto, such resolution to operate as a special order pursuant to the provisions of section 77 of the said Act.”
