Roads Excluded from Speed Limitation

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

1. The Warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 dated the 16th day of September 1966* which relates to areas within Papakura Borough is hereby revoked.

2. The areas specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Papakura Borough:

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point where the southern boundary of Papakura Borough meets the western side of the Great South Road; thence northerly generally along that roadside to a point 20 chains measured northerly generally from the said boundary; thence easterly generally by a right line to a point on the western side of Opaheke Road, opposite the northern side of Boundary Road; thence across Opaheke Road to the said northern side of Boundary Road, and along that roadside to the south-western side of Hunua Road; thence north-westerly generally along the south-western side of Hunua Road, to a point 21 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said roadside from Settlement Road; thence north-easterly generally by a right line to a point 8 chains measured easterly generally along the northern side of Settlement Road from Kelvin Road; thence north-easterly generally along the projection of the aforesaid right line to the point where it meets the eastern boundary of Papakura Borough; thence north-easterly, southerly, and westerly generally along the eastern and southern boundary of Papakura Borough to the commencing point.

Beach Road (from the western boundary of Papakura Borough to a point 16 chains measured easterly generally along the said road from the western boundary of Papakura Borough).

Appointment of the Dannevirke Borough Council to Control and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the Dannevirke Borough Council to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto subject to the provisions of the said Act as a scenic reserve.
