Cancellation of the Vesting in the Ashburton County Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ashburton, and revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for water race, plantation, and internal communication purposes described in the Schedule hereto.

PART Reserve 4293 situated in Block XI, Alford Survey District: Area, 21.1 perches, more or less (shown as Lot 2, D.P. 24634). Comprised in part certificate of title, Volume 433, folio 7; as shown on plan marked L. and S. 37960h deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Whakatane Borough Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Whakatane and revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for a site for public buildings and library described in the Schedule hereto.

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, from a reserve for general education to a reserve for education (pre-school) purposes.

Declaration That Reserves Form Part of the Westshore Domain

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the reserves for recreation described in the Schedule hereto to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to form part of the Westshore Domain, to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.

Declaration That the Massey-Birdwood Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Vesting in the Waitemata County Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the Massey-Birdwood Domain described in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, pursuant to the said Act, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitemata, in trust, for recreation purposes.
