Declaring Land Taken for Electric Works in Block IV, Maraekakaho Survey District

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for electric works and shall vest in the Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board from and after the 8th day of May 1967.

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land firstly described in the Schedule hereto, subject to right of batter created by transfer No. 163467, Otago Land Registry, the land secondly described in the said Schedule, subject to a building line condition created by Order in Council No. 5753, Otago Land Registry, and the land thirdly described in the said Schedule is hereby taken for better utilisation from and after the 8th day of May 1967.

Revocation of Appointments of Approvals to Issue Warrants of Fitness

PURSUANT to regulation 52 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes, as from 16 May 1967, all appointments or approvals for the issue of warrants of fitness for motor vehicles (other than appointment or approval issued to officers of the Crown, and to persons or firms located at Tirau), heretofore made or given, as the case may be, in terms of the said regulations, for any person or firm whose place of examination for the purpose of issue of warrants of fitness is situated within the area described in the Schedule hereto.
