Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SCHEDULE

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT—SOUTHLAND CONSERVANCY—WALLACE COUNTY

SECTIONS 7, 8, and 42, Block V, Aparima Hundred: Area, 434 acres and 33 perches, more or less.

As shown on plan numbered S 168/1 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plans 4017 and 7258.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 21st day of April 1967.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 17th day of April 1967

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Matamata County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of road containing 1 acre 3 roods 3 perches situated in Block XVI, Patetere North Survey District, adjoining or passing through part Section 37, Block XV, Patetere North Survey District (D.P. 14990), and Lot 1, D.P. S. 6364; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 21185 (S.O. 19679) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Declaring Road in Blocks IX and X, Tatura Survey District, Taupo County, to be County Road

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 17th day of April 1967

THE RIGHT HON. J. R. MARSHALL, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that portion of Link Road, situated in Blocks IX and X, Tatura Survey District, Taupo County, commencing at a point on the north-eastern side of Poihipi Road and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 1 mile 48 chains to a point on the south-western side of State Highway No. 1; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 21188 (S.O. 43540) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, the land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

ALL that piece of land containing 3 roods 22 perches situated in Block II, Piopiotea West Survey District, Taranaki R.D., being part Ohura South N 2B 3G 1A Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 73067 (S.O. 6714) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, being all Proclamation No. 922.

Dissolving the Waiotahi Drainage Board

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

  1. As from the 31st day of March 1967, the Waiotahi Drainage Board is dissolved.

  2. As from the date aforesaid the whole of the property, debts, liabilities, engagements, powers, and functions of the Waiotahi Drainage Board shall vest in and become the property, debts, liabilities, engagements, powers, and functions of the Poverty Bay Catchment Board.

to be Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand for a term of five years commencing on the 21st day of July 1967, in place of Gilbert Wilson, Esquire, who has resigned as at the 20th day of July 1967.
