TAKAPUNA CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sewerage Extension Supplementary Loan 1967, £4,500
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Takapuna City Council resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the Sewerage Extension Supplementary Loan 1967, £4,500, authorised to be raised by the Takapuna City Council by way of special loan under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Sewerage Extension Loan 1965, £45,000, was raised, the Takapuna City Council makes a special rate of .007d. (decimal nought nought seven pence) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Takapuna), and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Takapuna City Council held on the 18th day of April 1967.

GLEN EDEN BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Glen Eden Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £51,000, authorised to be raised by the Glen Eden Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erection of pensioner flats, the said Glen Eden Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one halfpenny (½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Glen Eden, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Glen Eden Borough Council held on the 28th day of February 1967.

HELENSVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Improvement Loan 1967—£1,200
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Helensville Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £1,200, authorised to be raised by the Helensville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of recouping its District Fund Account, the said Helensville Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.225d. in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Helensville comprising the whole of the Borough of Helensville, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

OPOTIKI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Opotiki Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £6,500, authorised to be raised by the Opotiki Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people, the said Opotiki Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point two five pence (.25d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Opotiki, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 40 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

ALEXANDRA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Golf Course Development Loan 1966—£2,500
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £2,500, known as the Golf Course Development Loan 1966, and authorised to be raised by the Alexandra Borough Council under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of meeting the cost of establishing an 18-hole golf course and part of the cost of the necessary equipment, the said Alexandra Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one-eighth pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Alexandra, and the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is paid off.”

MOUNT MAUNGANUI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Library Additional Loan 1967—£5,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Maunganui Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing security for interest and other charges on the loan of £5,000, authorised to be raised under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of meeting the additional cost of library construction, the council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.034d. in the pound upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all the unimproved property of the Borough of Mount Maunganui, and that such a special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Mount Maunganui Borough Council held on the 18th day of April 1967.

CITY OF MANUKAU

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Loans: Land Purchase Loan No. 8 (1966)—£156,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of £156,500, authorised to be raised by the Manukau City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of purchasing the land described in the Schedule hereto for subdivision for housing purposes including the provision of reserves within the City of Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nine seven pence (.097d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the City of Manukau, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

SCHEDULE

  1. All those pieces of land containing one hundred and twenty-two acres and seven decimal three perches (122a. and 7.3p.), more or less, being Lot 3 on Deposited Plan 31549; Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 54627; part Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 22977, and part Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 24051 and being part of Clendons Grant and all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 6c, folio 864.

  2. All that parcel of land containing fifteen acres one rood and eleven perches (15a. 1r. 11p.), more or less, being Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 54527 and being part of Clendons Grant and all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 6c, folio 863.
