NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 21st day of April 1967, presented to the said Court by the said company and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Invercargill on the 5th day of May 1967, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

FEATHERSTON COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A PUBLIC WORK
IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Featherston County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, the realignment of a public road, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said council, situate at Kitchener Street, Martinborough, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation), must state their objections in writing and send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Kitchener Street, Martinborough. If any objection is made as aforesaid, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the date and place of hearing.

NELSON CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A PUBLIC WORK
IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Nelson City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, to lay out and construct a service lane between Bridge Street and Trafalgar Street on part of Section 167, City of Nelson, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Trafalgar Street, and is open for public inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Trafalgar Street.

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Christchurch City Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a public work, namely, for street widening.
Every person affected should set forth in writing any objections he may wish to make to the execution of the said work or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or the payment of compensation, and to lodge the written objection at the offices of the Christchurch City Council, Manchester Street, Christchurch, within forty (40) days from the 24th day of April 1967, being the date of the first publication of this notice.

TAKAPUNA CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Takapuna Municipal Vehicle Testing Station Loan 1964, £85,000 (£35,000 Portion)
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Takapuna City Council resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the Takapuna Municipal Vehicle Testing Station Loan 1964, £85,000 (£35,000 portion), authorised to be raised by the Takapuna City Council by way of special loan under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of purchasing and developing land, erecting buildings, and purchasing and installing equipment for a municipal vehicle testing station, the Takapuna City Council makes a special rate of .05d. (decimal nought five pence) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Takapuna), and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Takapuna City Council held on the 18th day of April 1967.
