BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for river control
purposes and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Taumarunui as from the date
hereinafter mentioned, and that the land described in the
Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 1st day of May 1967.

Wellington
BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for broadcasting
purposes, and shall vest in the New Zealand Broadcasting
Corporation as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the 1st day of May 1967.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 14 acres 3 roods 23.1
perches, situated in Block XI, Belmont Survey District, City
of Wellington, Wellington R.D., and being part Section 94,
Ohariu District; as the same is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked M.O.W. 20945 (S.O. 26580) deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured orange.

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Mana to
the Purposes of Road
BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the
publication hereof in the Gazette, become road, and that
the said road shall be under the control of the Hutt County
Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in
like manner as other public highways are controlled and
maintained by the said Council.

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be
Subject to the Land Act 1948
BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act
1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint
recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister
of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land des-
cribed in the Schedule hereto, being portion of provisional
State forest reserve, set apart by Proclamation dated the 9th
day of March 1925, and published in the Gazette, 12 March
1925, Volume I, page 719, is required for settlement purposes;
and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such
land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof,
cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become
Crown land, available for sale, lease, reservation, or other
disposition, under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—COROMANDEL COUNTY
PART Otama East Block, situated in Block II, Otama Survey
District: Area, 154 acres 3 roods, more or less. As shown on
the plan marked L. and S. 10/92/28 deposited in the Head

thereon edged red (S.O. 43385).
