PUBLIC INQUIRY INTO QUESTION OF ADDING THE GOODS LISTED HEREUNDER TO SCHEDULE A OF NEW ZEALAND - AUSTRALIA FREE TRADE AGREEMENT

At the request of the Minister of Overseas Trade, the Tariff and Development Board proposes to inquire into and report on the question
of whether the goods listed in paragraph 2 hereunder should be added to Schedule A of the New Zealand - Australia Free Trade Agreement.

In considering this matter the Board will have regard to all relevant provisions of the New Zealand - Australia Free Trade Agreement.
It will take full account of the advantages and disadvantages to New Zealand industry concerned and to New Zealand as a whole of includ-
ing the items in Schedule A.
For the purpose of taking evidence on this subject the Board will hold a public inquiry commencing on Tuesday, 6 June 1967, at 10.30. a.m.,
in the Board Room, First Floor, New Zealand Law Society Building, 26 Waring Taylor Street, Wellington.
Any person who intends to tender evidence will, on notifying the undersigned to that effect, be supplied with a form indicating the
nature of the information which should be submitted in support of representations.
Twelve copies of a typewritten statement of the evidence to be tendered, compiled in accordance with the form and supported by any
additional information, should be lodged with the undersigned not later than Monday, 29 May 1967. Each statement will need to be presented
under oath at the public inquiry by the person tendering it.
