    Midhurst factory and store:
    Amend present rural zoning to industrial "C" for factory.
    Amend present rural zoning to commercial "A" for factory
    store.

  2. Firth Concrete (Taranaki) Ltd. (State Highway 3):
    Amend present rural zoning to industrial "C".
    Also suggest an area be zoned as industrial "D".

  3. Doughty Tanks (Taranaki) Ltd., Waipuku:
    Amend ordinance II rural zoning 1 (b) 1 to include a
    specific reference to the industry concrete tanks, etc.
    Also amend ordinance II rural zoning 1 (b) XII by adding
    the words "including dwelling houses" after the word
    "Buildings".

  4. J. Sheehan Ltd. (Tanneries, State Highway 3):
    Amend present rural zoning to provide for leather tanning,
    wool scouring, and similar processes to be a "predominant
    use", or
    Amend code of ordinances to provide for above industry to
    be a "conditional use".

  5. Stressed Products Ltd. (Pembroke Road):
    Amend present rural zoning to cover industry of stressed
    products.

  6. H. Strampel, Toko township:
    Amend present commercial "A" zoning to industrial "A".

  7. Stratford and District Progressive Association:
    Amend present rural zoning north of Stratford Borough,
    west side, to Monmouth Road to industrial "C".

  8. Stratford and District Progressive Association:
    Amend present rural zoning north of Stratford Borough,
    east side, to Monmouth Road to industrial "D".

  9. Stratford Retailers Association:
    Support for item "8" above.

  1. At the request of the Minister of Overseas Trade, the Tariff and Development Board proposes to inquire into and report on the question

  3. In considering this matter the Board will have regard to all relevant provisions of the New Zealand - Australia Free Trade Agreement.
    It will take full account of the advantages and disadvantages to New Zealand industry concerned and to New Zealand as a whole of includ-
    ing the items in Schedule A.

  4. For the purpose of taking evidence on this subject the Board will hold a public inquiry commencing on Tuesday, 6 June 1967, at 10.30. a.m.,
    in the Board Room, First Floor, New Zealand Law Society Building, 26 Waring Taylor Street, Wellington.

  5. Any person who intends to tender evidence will, on notifying the undersigned to that effect, be supplied with a form indicating the
    nature of the information which should be submitted in support of representations.

  6. Twelve copies of a typewritten statement of the evidence to be tendered, compiled in accordance with the form and supported by any
    additional information, should be lodged with the undersigned not later than Monday, 29 May 1967. Each statement will need to be presented
    under oath at the public inquiry by the person tendering it.
