WHAKATANE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———
Waterworks Loan 1966, £10,000

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whakatane Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing for the annual charges on a loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000), authorised to be raised by the Whakatane Borough Council under the above mentioned Act for the purpose of providing water reticulation and extensions, the said Whakatane Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought seven five pence (.075d.) in the pound (£) upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property over the whole of the Borough of Whakatane; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the said loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Whakatane Borough Council held on the 30th day of January 1967.

TARANAKI ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taranaki Electric-Power Board resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal and interest on the Board’s Reticulation Extension Loan 1966, £80,000, authorised to be raised by the Taranaki Electric-Power Board for the purpose of the further reticulation of the Taranaki electric-power district, the Taranaki Electric-Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of seventy-nine one-thousandths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of capital value) of all rateable property in the Taranaki electric-power district; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly, on the 1st day of March and the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully repaid.”

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Taranaki Electric-Power Board, held on 20 February 1967.

TARADALE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Town Planning Loan 1966—£2,400

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taradale Borough Council hereby resolves, by way of special order:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £2,400, known as the Town Planning Loan 1966—£2,400, authorised to be raised by the Taradale Borough Council for the purpose of recouping its district fund account, the Taradale Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two four pence (.024d.) in the pound (£) upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the borough of Taradale; the said special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, until it is fully repaid.”

The foregoing resolution was passed at a special meeting of the Taradale Borough Council, held on 31 January 1967 and confirmed on 28 February 1967.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Civic Centre Redemption Loan 1967—£3,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £3,000, authorised to be raised by the Feilding Borough Council, under the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of repaying on maturity the Civic Centre Supplementary Loan 1956—£4,000, which matures on 1 March 1967, the said Feilding Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three eight pence (.038d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Feilding; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly, on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Feilding Borough Council, held on 9 February 1967.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Temuka Borough Council resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on a loan of £16,500, authorised to be raised by the Temuka Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing a swimming pool and associated buildings in the Temuka Domain, the Temuka Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 1.01 pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property within the Borough of Temuka; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly, each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, till the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitaki County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of thirty thousand pounds (£30,000), authorised to be raised by the Waitaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Waitaki County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.049d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved value, of all rateable property; and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Departure from Operative District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and its amendments and of the regulations made thereunder, that the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, by order dated the 28th day of June 1966 and subsequent amendment dated 28th day of November 1966, gave consent to a specified departure from the provisions of the Mount Albert Borough Council’s Operative District Scheme by permitting the New Zealand Co-op. Pig Marketing Assn. Ltd. to erect and operate an extension to its existing pig processing factory on the land described in the Schedule hereto notwithstanding that the land is zoned Industrial “B. 3.” but subject however to the following conditions:

(1) That such operations be at all times so conducted as to ensure that no avoidable nuisance or detriment to the amenities of the neighbourhood shall exist.

(2) That a front yard of 14 ft be provided on the Aitken Terrace frontage.

(3) That a front yard of 8 ft be provided on the Mostyn Street frontage.

(4) That provision be made for 50 off-street parking spaces and the area to be sealed and maintained to Council’s satisfaction.

(5) That the design of the building shall be to Council’s approval.

(6) That the yard space on the Aitken Terrace and Mostyn Street frontages be landscaped and maintained at all times to Council’s satisfaction.

(7) Leave reserved to all parties “to apply”.

SCHEDULE

FIRSTLY, 1 rood 4 perches, more or less, being Lots 22, 23, 24, of Section 1, on Deposited Plan 383, part Allotment 12, of Section 5, Suburbs of Auckland. All certificate of title, Volume 92, folio 183, North Auckland Registry.
