A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wanganui Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the New Zealand Farmers’ Fertiliser Co. Ltd., of Auckland, fertiliser manufacturers (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
- The system of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a, b, d, f) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and shall be an alternating-current system.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1988.
TERMS OF SUPPLY
- The licence shall not authorise or permit the supply of electrical energy to any premises excepting the premises belonging to the licensee and directly used for the purposes of the licensee’s pumping plant.
SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee’s generator and proceeding by underground cable in a north-north-easterly direction across the Katere Road - Devon Road intersection and along Devon Road for approximately 12 chains. Thence in a north-westerly direction across the Taranaki County Council gravel reserve to the Waiwakaiho River. Across the said river then in a northerly direction generally across Clemow Road to the licensee’s pumping station and storage basin. The route of the said cable being more particularly shown by means of a red line on plans marked N.Z.E.D. 699/1 and 2 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.
