RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Stormwater Loan 1965-£50,000

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Tauranga City Council, held on 25 October 1966, the following resolution was passed:

"Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £50,000, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the above-mentioned Act for improving the storm water drainage in the City, the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought eight eight pence (.088d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Tauranga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly, on the 15th day of November in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

WAIAPOU COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waiapu County Council, acting under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Counties Act 1956, proposes to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto for a public work, namely, for a public road.

Notice is further given that plans of the lands required to be taken are deposited in the offices of the Council, at Te Puia Springs, and of the Council's solicitors, Messrs Nolan and Skeet, Childers Road, Gisborne, and are open for inspection by all persons during office hours.

All persons affected by the taking of such lands, or by the execution of such public works, must set forth, in writing, any objection they may wish to make to the execution of the said works, or to the taking of the said lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and deliver the same to the offices of the Council within 40 days from the first publication of this notice.

If any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

The land to be taken forms part of the Western approach to the Waitaia Stream bridge, on the Tapuaeroa Road, in the County of Waiapu.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Tauranga City Council, held on 25 October 1966, the following resolution was passed:

"Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £50,000, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the above-mentioned Act for improving streets within the City, the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought eight five pence (.085d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Tauranga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly, on the 15th day of November in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

CLIFTON COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Clifton County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a dump for refuse and rubbish upon parts of blocks, and, for the purpose of such public work, proposes to take:

(a) 1 acre 1 rood 28 perches, being part of Lot 7B, part sub. 3, Section 24, Block IV, Waitara Survey District; and

(b) 1 acre 1 rood 3.6 perches, being part sub. 2, Section 24, Block IV, Waitara Survey District.

The land is situated on Okoki Road, approximately a ¼-mile from its junction with the main highway. A plan of the land required to be taken is deposited for public inspection at the office of the said Clifton County Council in Domett Street, Waitara. The area required to be taken for the said works is coloured thereon blue.

All persons affected by the proposed taking are hereby called upon to set forth, in writing, any objections to the execution of the said works, or to the taking of the said land, and to

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £30,000, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the above-mentioned Act for constructing footpaths, the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five three pence (.053d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Tauranga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly, on the 15th day of November in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
