NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO STOP PORTIONS OF ROAD

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 148 of the Public Works Act 1928, that it is proposed to stop those portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

And notice is hereby further given that the plan showing the portions of road proposed to be stopped is deposited in the offices of Messrs Evans, Easther, Harris, and Goodman, Solicitors, 335 Wellington Road, Marton, and is there open for inspection, without fee, during ordinary office hours.

All persons objecting to the proposal to stop the portions of road must lodge their objections, in writing, at the offices of Messrs Evans, Easther, Harris, and Goodman on or before the 28th day of March 1967.

If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public meeting of the ratepayers of the Rangitikei County will be called, by public notice, at a time and place to be specified in the notice.

Secondly, 34.3 perches, more or less, adjoining the land situate in Block I, Koitiata Survey District, being part Tiniwaitara 1, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 322, folio 73 (Wellington Registry); and, adjoining the land situate in Block I, Koitiara Survey District, being part Tiniwaitara 2d, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 253, folio 5 (Wellington Registry).

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS FOR ROAD

NOTICE is hereby given that the Rangitikei County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road; and, for the purposes of that public work, the lands described in the First and Second Schedules hereto are required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that the plan showing the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the offices of Messrs Evans, Easther, Harris, and Goodman, Solicitors, 335 Wellington Road, Marton, and is there open for inspection, without fee, during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work, or by the taking of the said lands, should, if they have any objection to the execution of the said public work, or to the taking of the said lands, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to Messrs Evans, Easther, Harris, and Goodman at the above address.

If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, notice is hereby given that the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Dunedin (hereinafter called “the Corporation”) proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, to provide, pursuant to section 177 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, parking places; and, for the purpose of such public work, the land first described in the Schedule hereto and the interest in land secondly described in the Schedule hereto require to be taken for the purpose of parking places: and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the Municipal Chambers, The Octagon, Dunedin, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public works, or the taking of the said land and interest in land, should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public works or the taking of such land and interest in land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing, and send such written objection, within 40 days from the first publication of this
