HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Eastern Bays Riding—Eastbourne Borough Financial Adjustment Loan 1966, £17,000

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Hutt County Council, held on the 14th day of December 1966:

"Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £17,000, authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of effecting the financial adjustment of assets and liabilities arising through the amalgamation of the Eastern Bays Riding with the Eastbourne Borough, the said Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.0287d. in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on the 1st day of June and the 1st day of December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners Flats Loan No. 2, 1966—£25,650

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand six hundred and fifty pounds (£25,650), authorised to be raised by the Mount Roskill Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people in the Borough of Mount Roskill, and meeting costs incidental thereto, the said Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two nine eight pence (.0298d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) on all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Roskill; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, and be paid yearly, on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of forty (40) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

OTOROHANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Town Hall Improvement Loan 1966, £6,000

THAT, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £6,000, authorised to be raised by the Otorohanga Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of refunding the district fund account in respect of the cost of renovations made to the town hall, the said Otorohanga Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.35d. in the pound (£) on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Otorohanga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half yearly, on the 1st day of March and the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

THAMES VALLEY ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Reticulation Loan 1966—£532,000

NOTICE is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Thames Valley Electric-power Board, held at the Board’s offices, Te Aroha, on the 7th day of February 1967, the following resolution was passed:

"In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Thames Valley Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:—

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges of principal, interest, and other charges on the Reticulation Loan 1966—£532,000, authorised to be raised by the Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of further reticulating the Thames Valley electric power district and extending and improving the supply within that district, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of two twenty-firsts (²⁄₂₁) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of capital value) of all rateable property within the whole of the Thames Valley electric power district; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

CLIFTON COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Workers Housing Loan 1966—Special Rate

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Clifton County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,000, authorised to be raised by the Clifton County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing workers housing, the Clifton County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one two four nine one (.12491) pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the area of the County of Clifton; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly, on the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off; and that the said special rate be, and is hereby pledged and appropriated as, security for the said loan, and that all moneys received by way of levy be utilised in discharge of the annual instalments under the above-mentioned loan."

I certify that the above resolution was duly carried at a meeting of the Clifton County Council held on 14 October 1966, and is entered in the minute book of the Council at page 55.

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Mount Roskill Borough District Scheme—Change No. 22

PUBLIC notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and its amendments, and to the regulations made thereunder, that change No. 22 was recommended for approval by Council, at its meeting on 3 May 1966, and was approved by Council on 7 February 1967.

All objections were heard, and no appeals against disallowance of any objections were made, and Council, at its meeting on 7 February 1967, resolved that change No. 22 be incorporated in the district scheme for the Borough of Mount Roskill, and determined that the change shall become operative on 7 March 1967.

The land referred to in this change is described as follows:

Lots 515, 516, and 518 of D.P. 38570; Lots 491, 492, 493, and 495 to 511 (inclusive) of D.P. 38571.

Lots 512, 513, 514, and 548, D.P. 40647; part land on D.P. 17124, and part of Allotment 216, Titirangi Parish; all the above land being situated in part Allotments 87B and 216, Titirangi Parish, Block IV, Titirangi Survey District.

Area: 6 acres 2 roods 23.5 perches.

Location: On Stoddard Road, Mount Roskill, approximately 200 yds from Richardson Road.

Copies of the change No. 22 as approved have been deposited in the office of the Council and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires, at any time when the office is open to the public.
