IN THE MATTER of the Companies Act 1955 and IN THE MATTER
of F. J. H. VISSER (DUNEDIN) LIMITED:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a petition for the winding
up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was,
on the 2nd day of February 1967, presented to the said
Court by Timaru Ready-Mix Concrete Limited, a duly-
incorporated company having its registered office at Halswell
Junction Road, Hornby, Christchurch, AND that the said peti-
tion is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Christ-
church on the 22nd day of March 1967, at 10 o’clock in
the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said
company who desires to support or oppose the making of
an Order on the said petition may appear at the time of
hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a
copy of the petition will be furnished by the under signed
to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring
a copy, on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

and must be signed by the person or firm, or his or their
solicitors (if any), and must be served, or if posted must
be sent by post in sufficient time to reach the above-named
petitioner’s address for service not later than 4 o’clock in the
afternoon of the 21st day of March 1967.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
———

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wanganui County Council,
acting under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928,
proposes to execute a certain public work, namely, to take
land for a road; and for the purpose of such work the land
described in the schedule hereto is required to be taken.
Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so
required for such public work is deposited in the offices of
Messrs Armstrong, Barton, Latham, and Hankins, Solicitors,
16 Wicksteed Place, Wanganui, and is open for inspection by
all persons during office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of such public work,
who have any objection they may wish to make thereto, must
state their objection in writing, and deliver it to the Clerk
at the Wanganui County Council at Wanganui within 40 days
from the first publication of this notice.

SCHEDULE

AREA, 11.9 perches, be the same a little more or less, being
part Section 49, Left Bank Wanganui River, situated in Block
VI, Ikitara Survey District, and being also part of the land in
certificate of title, Volume 689, folio 96 (Wellington Registry),
the said land being more particularly shown coloured blue
on S.O. Plan 26755; and 2 roods 30.3 perches, be the same a
little more or less, being part of the land in Plan A/1176,
being part Section 34, Left Bank Wanganui River, situated in
Block VI, Ikitara Survey District, and being also part of the
land in certificate of title, Volume 238, folio 20 (Wellington
Registry), the said land being more particularly shown
coloured orange on S.O. Plan 26755.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and in the matter
of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, notice is hereby
given that the Lower Hutt City Council proposes, by virtue
of the above-mentioned Acts and all other acts and powers it
thereunto enabling, to execute a public work, to wit, the
construction of a pedestrian subway under Oxford Terrace,
in the City of Lower Hutt, as a means of access to and
from Waterloo Station, and also the provision of pedestrian
access to and from Knights Road and Birch Street, and for
the purpose of such public work the Council requires to take
the land more particularly described in the Schedule in
connection with street; and notice is hereby further given that
a plan of the said piece of land so required to be taken is
deposited at the offices of the Council, Laings Road, Lower
Hutt, and is there open for inspection during ordinary office
hours; and notice is hereby further given that all persons
affected by the execution of the said public work, or by the
taking of the said piece of land, or either of them, should
set forth their objections in writing and send the same, within
forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to
the Lower Hutt City Council at the above address.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situate in the City of Lower Hutt
containing seventeen decimal four six perches (17.46 p.),
more or less, being Sections 42 and 43, Block XXVIII, of the
Hutt Valley Settlement, and being the whole of the land
contained in certificate of title, Volume B 3, folio 145, Wellington
Registry; subject to the provisions of section 59 of the
Land Act 1954.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———

Staff Housing Loan 1966—£20,000

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans
Act 1956, the New Plymouth City Council hereby resolves:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of twenty thousand pounds (£20,000), to be known
as the Staff Housing Loan 1966, authorised to be raised by
the New Plymouth City Council under the above-mentioned
Act for the purpose of making advances to employees for
housing purposes, the New Plymouth City Council hereby
makes a special rate of decimal nought two eight pence (.028d.)
in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the
unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City
of New Plymouth; and that the said special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be
payable half yearly, on the 1st day of April and the 1st day
of October in each and every year during the currency of
the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the
loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a
properly constituted meeting of the New Plymouth City
Council, held on the 6th day of February 1967.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Airport Development and Construction Loan 1966—£75,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the New
Plymouth City Council hereby resolves:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £75,000, authorised to be raised by the New
Plymouth City Council for the purpose of meeting part
costs of the New Plymouth Airport, the New Plymouth City
Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one one pence
(.11d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the
basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in
the whole of the City of New Plymouth; and that the
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, and be payable half yearly, on the
1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a
properly constituted meeting of the New Plymouth City
Council, held on the 6th day of February 1967.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wainuiomata Roading Development Loan 1966—£25,000

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Hutt County Council, held on the 14th day of December 1966:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £25,000, authorised to be raised by the Hutt County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
constructing The Strand, together with associated services,
drainage, kerbing, channelling, and footpaths, the said Hutt
County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of
0.201d. in the pound upon the unimproved value of all
rateable property in the Wainuiomata Riding of the County
of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable
on the 1st day of June and the 1st day of December in each
and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 23 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
