WAIROA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and in the matter
of the Counties Act 1956, notice is hereby given that the
Wairoa County Council proposes, under the provisions of
the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work,
namely, a road, and for that purpose the lands described in
the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is
further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken
is deposited at the office of the said Council, situated in
Queen Street, Wairoa, and is open for inspection, without
fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons
affected by the execution of the said public work, or the taking
of the lands, who have any objection, not being an objection
to the amount of, or payment of, compensation, must state
their objection, in writing, and send the same, within 40 days
from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk
at the County Chambers.
The land affected is situated on either side of the new
bridge across the Mohaka River, at Mohaka.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE
No. 82
in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken for the
purpose of parking places: and notice is hereby further
given that the land so required to be taken is all the land
comprised in certificate of title, register book, Volume 258,
folio 78 (Otago Land Registry); that all persons affected
by the execution of the said public work, or the taking
of the said land, should, if they have any objections to the
execution of the said public work or the taking of such land,
not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing, and send such written
objection, within 40 days from the first publication of this
notice, namely, the 14th day of December 1966, to the Town
Clerk of the Corporation; and that, if any objection is made
in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection
will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each
objector will be advised of the time and place of hearing.
SCHEDULE
- An estate in fee simple in all that piece of land situated
in the City of Dunedin, containing 25.4 poles, more or less,
being parts of Sections 71 and 72, Block VII, Town of
Dunedin; shown on Deposited Plan 4298, and being all the
land comprised in certificate of title register book, Volume 258,
folio 78, and being known as No. 17 Maclaggan Street,
Dunedin.

CITY OF MANUKAU
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Land Purchase Loan No. 5 (1966)--£210,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £210,000, authorised to be raised by the Manukau
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of purchasing land for general city purposes, including
commercial and industrial development, within the City of
Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby makes a
special rate of decimal one three pence (.13d.) in the pound
(£) upon the rateable, unimproved value of all rateable
property of the City of Manukau; and that the special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the
loan, and be payable yearly, on the 1st day of April, in each
and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a
meeting of the Manukau City Council, held on the 15th day of
December 1966.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Bridges Loan 1966--£110,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £110,000, authorised to be raised by the Manukau
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of replacing old and constructing new bridges, including
bridge approaches, within the City of Manukau, the said
Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of
decimal nought six nine pence (.069d.) in the pound (£)
upon the rateable, unimproved value of all rateable property
of the City of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and
be payable yearly, on the 1st day of April, in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a
meeting of the Manukau City Council, held on the 15th day of
