“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £34,500, authorised to be raised by the Manukau
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of purchasing land for general city purposes, including com-
mercial and industrial development, at Wiri, within the City
of Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby makes
a special rate of decimal nought two one pence (.021d.) in
the pound (£) upon the rateable, unimproved value of all
rateable property of the City of Manukau; and that the
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, and be payable yearly, on the 1st day
of April, in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.”

I, Ronald Wood, Town Clerk of the Manukau City Council,
hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a
meeting of the Manukau City Council, held on the 15th day
of December 1966.

CITY OF MANUKAU


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Land Purchase Loan No. 6 (1966)—£202,500

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £202,500, authorised to be raised by the Manukau
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes
of purchasing land for general city purposes, including com-
mercial and industrial development, housing subdivisions,
roading, and reserves development, at Pakuranga, within the
City of Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby
makes a special rate of decimal one two five pence (.125d.)
in the pound (£) upon the rateable, unimproved value of all
rateable property of the City of Manukau; and that the
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, and be payable yearly, on the 1st day of
April, in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.”

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Wellington City and Suburban Water Supply Loan 1966, of £200,000

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Wellington City Council held on the 5th day of December
1966:

“That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the
Wellington City and Suburban Water Supply Act 1927, the
Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a special loan of £200,000, to be known as the Wellington City
and Suburban Water Supply Loan 1966, authorised to be
raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-
mentioned Acts for the purpose of improving the water supply
for the Wellington City and Suburban Water Supply Board,
the said Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate
of decimal nought four eight of a penny (.048d.) in the
pound, made on the rateable value (on the basis of the
unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Cities of
Wellington, Upper Hutt, and Porirua, the Boroughs of East-
bourne and Tawa, and the County of Hutt; and that the
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, and shall be payable yearly, on the
1st day of April, in each year during the currency of the
said loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the
loan is fully paid off.”

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Wellington City Abattoir Additional Loan 1966, of £60,000

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Wellington City Council, held on the 14th day of December
1966:

“That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of sixty thousand pounds (£60,000), to be known
as the Wellington City Abattoir Additional Loan 1966, of
£60,000, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
completing the new municipal abattoir, the Wellington City
Council hereby makes a special rate of nineteen one-
thousandths of a penny (.019d.) in the pound on the rateable
value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable
property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and
that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly,
on the 1st day of April, in each year during the currency
of the said loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAITOMO ELECTRIC POWER BOARD


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Housing Loan 1966, of £9,000

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and all other
Acts and powers it enabling, the Waitomo Electric Power
Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest,
and other charges on a loan of £9,000 (nine thousand pounds),
authorised to be raised by the Waitomo Electric Power Board
under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of acquiring
land, erecting dwellings thereon, purchasing land with dwellings
thereon for disposal by way of sale or lease to employees,
and for making advances to employees for housing purposes,
the Waitomo Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies
a special rate of seven one-hundredths of a penny (7/100d.) in
the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the
unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Waitomo
electric power district; and that such special rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and
be payable yearly, on the 1st day of February, in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Rural Housing Loan No. 11, 1966—£100,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Matamata
County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the repayment of, and
interest charges on, a loan of £100,000, authorised to be
raised by the Matamata County Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers
under the provisions of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said
Matamata County Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of decimal nought four nought one six pence (0.04016d.)
in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital
value) of all rateable property in the County of Matamata;
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly, on
the 1st day of April, in each and every year during the
currency of such loan.”

The foregoing resolution was passed at a duly constituted
meeting of the Matamata County Council, held on the 15th
day of December 1966.
