THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

Council hereby makes a special rate of one-eighth of a penny (⅛d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the Borough of Te Kuiti; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

GISBORNE CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sewerage Additional Loan 1966, of £100,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Gisborne City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £100,000 authorised to be raised by the Gisborne City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the additional cost of carrying out the work for which the Sewerage Loan 1960, of £400,000, was sanctioned, the said Gisborne City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·252d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property, comprising the whole of the City of Gisborne; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Gisborne City Council held on 15 November 1966.

EGMONT COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Opunake Additional Sewerage Loan 1966, £20,000
RESOLVED pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and all amendments thereto, the Egmont County Council hereby resolves that, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of £20,000, authorised to be raised by the Egmont County Council by the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of additional expenditure on sewerage reticulation and sea outfall for a special area of the Opunake Riding, the Egmont County Council hereby makes a special rate of 2d. in the pound on the unimproved rateable property value of all rateable property as defined in the special rating area in Opunake Riding; such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the period or currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, for the full period of 30 years, or until such loan is fully repaid.

RIVERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Riverton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £3,600, authorised to be raised by the Riverton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the repayment of the Drainage Replacement Loan 1956, the Riverton Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal six seven five pence (·675d.) in the pound on the unimproved rateable value of all the rateable property in the Riverton Borough, comprising the whole of the Borough of Riverton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is paid off.”

PENINSULA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Peninsula County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £34,000, authorised to be raised by the Peninsula County Council under the above-mentioned Act for meeting the additional cost of installing a water supply and sewerage system, the said Peninsula County Council hereby makes a special rate of three and one-quarter pence (3¼d.) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Macandrew Bay and Company Bay special rating area, comprising the defined portion of the Macandrew Bay and Company Bay townships in the North East Harbour and Broad Bay Ridings, as described in the special order and the electoral roll; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of the sixth month and the first day of the 12th month in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Wanganui City Operative District Planning Scheme—Proposed Changes Under Section 29
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Wanganui City Council, made on the 14th day of November 1966, proposed changes to the district scheme have been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The proposed changes relate to the following matters:

Deletion of part of proposed service lane, Saint Hill Street, between the Grand Hotel and Wanganui Club.

Relocation of part of proposed service lane, Saint Hill Street, through Farmers’ Trading Co. property.
Copies of the proposed changes have been deposited in the City Engineer’s Office, Saint Hill Street, and the Alexander (Wanganui) Public Library, in accordance with section 22 (1) of the Act, and are there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public. Objections to the proposed changes, or to any part of any change, shall be in writing in form E, prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than 24 January 1967. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk, in writing, within the period of which public notice will be given.

WANGANUI CITY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Approved Changes to the City of Wanganui District Scheme
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned changes to the district scheme, under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for the City of Wanganui were approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting on the 14th day of November 1966.
No deferment was sought by the Minister or any local authority, and no objections were received to the proposed changes.
The Council has also resolved that the under-mentioned changes shall come into operation on the 1st day of December 1966.
Copies of the changes as approved have been deposited in the Council’s office, Saint Hill Street, Wanganui, and in the Wanganui Public Library, and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when those places are open to the public.
