And notice is hereby further given that a sketch plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Willow Street, Tauranga, and in the shop premises of W. H. Bongard, Esquire, chemist, situate in Greerton, Tauranga, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

Every person affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land and who objects to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state his or her objection in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Tauranga City Council, Willow Street, Tauranga.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land containing approximately 564 acres and 36 perches, being Waoku No. 2b Block and part Waoku No. 2 Block, being part Block XII, Otanewainuku Survey District, being that area of land situate generally at the headwaters of the Waimapu Stream, being a roughly rectangular block lying in an east-west direction, across the northern extremity of Seales Road, and with a triangular portion extending southward on the eastern side of Seales Road. All of the land in certificate of title, Volume 4B, folio 860 (South Auckland Registry).

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road, for which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the Waipa County Council, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928.

A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council in Bank Street, Te Awamutu.

Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such work, or to the taking of such land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such written objection to the Waipa County Council within 40 days of the first publication of this notice. A public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing. This land is being taken to improve the alignment of the Kairangi Road.

WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wanganui County Council, acting under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, proposes to execute a certain public work—namely, to take land for a road—and, for the purpose of such work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so

required for such public work is deposited in the offices of Messrs. Armstrong, Barton, Latham, and Hankins, Solicitors, 16 Wicksteed Place, Wanganui, and is open for inspection by all persons during office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of such public work who have any objection they may wish to make thereto must state their objection in writing, and deliver it to the clerk at the Wanganui County Council at Wanganui within 40 days from the first publication of this notice.

SCHEDULE

AREA, 32 perches, be the same a little more or less, being part of Tauakira 2E, situated in Block X, Ngamatea Survey District, and being also part of the land in Deposited Plan 2849, and being also part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 823, folio 81 (Wellington Registry), the said land being more particularly shown coloured sepia on S.O. Plan 26495; and 26 perches, be the same a little more or less, being that part of the bed of the Mangawhero River shown coloured yellow on S.O. Plan 26495.

KAWAKAWA TOWN COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kawakawa Town Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a supplementary loan of £1,100, authorised to be raised by the Kawakawa Town Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the new fire station, the said Kawakawa Town Council hereby makes a special rate of three-sixteenths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Town District of Kawakawa; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Kawakawa Town Council held on the 14th day of November 1966.

MATAMATA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Fire Station Extension Loan £8,600

THE following resolution was passed at a meeting of the Council, held on 14 November 1966, pursuant to the Local Authorities Act 1956.

The Matamata Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £8,600, authorised to be raised by the Matamata Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for fire-station extensions, the said Matamata Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·011d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Matamata, comprising the whole of the Borough of Matamata; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bridge Redemption Loan 1966, of £4,200

NOTICE is hereby given that, at a meeting of the above Council held on the 16th day of November 1966, the following resolution was passed.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of four thousand two hundred pounds (£4,200), authorised to be raised by the Te Kuiti Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Bridge Replacement Loan 1954, of £18,000, which matures on 1 December 1966, the said Te Kuiti Borough.
