of completing the purpose for which the Sewerage Reticulation Loan 1960, £850,000, was sanctioned within the City of Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five three pence (.053d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the City of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I, Ronald Wood, Town Clerk of the Manukau City Council, hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Manukau City Council held on the 11th day of November 1966.

WAIMATE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Proposed by: Cr. H. B. L. Johnstone.
Seconded by: Cr. J. R. Drinnan.

“THAT, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimate County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £21,000 authorised to be raised by the Waimate County Council under the above-mentioned Act for rural housing, the said Waimate County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·033 pence in the pound upon the unimproved rateable values of all rateable property over the whole of the County of Waimate; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Waimate County Council held on 29 August 1966.

TAUMARUNUI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Footpath Construction Loan 1966, £12,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taumarunui Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £12,000 authorised to be raised by the Taumarunui Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing concrete footpaths within the borough, the Taumarunui Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of point two one pence (.21d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Taumarunui; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully repaid.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Taumarunui Borough Council at a meeting held on Monday, the 26th day of September 1966.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bridges Replacement Loan 1966

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council for the purpose of renewing county bridges, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·07005 pence in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Rangitikei, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

OROUA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1966, £12,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Oroua County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twelve thousand pounds (£12,000) authorised to be raised by the Oroua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Oroua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·0183d. in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Oroua, except Ashhurst County Town; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Electricity Extension Loan, 1966—£440,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers it in that behalf enabling, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of four hundred and forty thousand pounds (£440,000), authorised to be raised by the Christchurch City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the distribution system and electrical reticulation of the Council’s electricity undertaking, the said Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of fifty-seven two hundred and fiftieths of a penny (57/250d.) in the pound (£·00095) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) on all rateable property comprised within the City of Christchurch; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate, payable on demand during the currency of the said loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The Christchurch City Council, at a meeting held on the 14th day of November 1966, passed the above resolution.

GERALDINE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

(Section 47 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956)

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Geraldine County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of thirty thousand pounds (£30,000) authorised to be raised by the Geraldine County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the Geraldine County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal zero four two eight eight pence (.04288) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Geraldine comprising the whole of the Geraldine County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was duly passed by the Geraldine County Council at a special meeting held on the 7th day of November 1966.
