NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

Notice is hereby given that the Waipara County Council acting on behalf of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waipara proposes to take, pursuant to the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, the lands described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of constructing a road. A plan showing the extent of the land to be taken has been deposited in the office of the Waipara County Council, Waikari, and may be inspected by any person during normal business hours.

Every person affected by the proposed taking of land or by the proposed work is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk, Waipara County Council, P.O. Box 1, Waikari. If any such notice of objection is received a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situated in Block VI of the Stonyhurst Survey District containing 7 acres 3 roods, more or less, coloured orange on a plan prepared by Messrs Royds, Sutherland, Evans, and McLeay, registered surveyors, dated August 1966, and lodged in the public office of the Waipara County Council, being part of Lot 1 on Deposit Plan 9773, part of Rural Sections 34659, 11040, and 25833, and running from the Greta River to the Main North Road, the registered proprietor of the land being Hugh Fitzsimmons, of Greta Vale, Tipapa, sheep farmer.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS

IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Bay of Islands County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a road within the County of Bay of Islands, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situated in Albert Street, Kawakawa, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by, or who have well grounded objections to the execution of, the said public work or the taking of such lands, must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the 14th day of November 1966, being the day of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County Office, Albert Street, Kawakawa.
