IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Steam Sheen (N.Z.) Ltd., notice is hereby given that, by a duly signed entry in the minute book of the above-named company on the 17th day of October 1966, the following extraordinary resolution was passed by the company, namely:

Resolved by extraordinary resolution that it has been proved to the satisfaction of the meeting that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue in business and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily and that Mr R. H. Cross, of Wellington, public accountant, be nominated as liquidator for the purposes of such winding up.

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Alfa Construction Co. Ltd., a company duly incorporated in New Zealand and having its registered office in the City of Christchurch, notice is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand dated the 7th day of November 1966 confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £5,000 to £2,500 and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 9th day of November 1966. The said minute is in the words and figures following:

“That the capital of the company be reduced from £5,000 divided into 5,000 fully paid shares of £1 each to £2,500 divided into 5,000 fully paid shares of 10s. each, and that such reduction be effected by paying to each shareholder the sum of 10s. for each share held by him or her, being capital which is in excess of the wants of the company.”

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, that the Whangarei County Council proposes to take the pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto for road, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the pieces of land required to be taken is deposited in the office of the said Council, situated at Springs Flat, Kamo, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the taking of such land who have any objections to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount of payment of compensation, must lodge their objections, in writing, and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, Whangarei County Council, Box 4102, Kamo.

If any objection is made a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing. At any such hearing the objector shall be advised of the reasons for the proposed taking.
