the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
in the City of Upper Hutt; and that such special rate
shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency

April in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully
repaid.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Upper Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing for the annual
charges on a loan of £8,000, authorised to be raised by the
Upper Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act
for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the
Town Plan Development Loan 1964, £80,000, was sanctioned,
the said Upper Hutt City Council hereby makes a special
rate of 0·032d. in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the
basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the
City of Upper Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan,

Bay Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

charges on a loan of three hundred thousand pounds
(£3000,000) authorised to be raised by the Poverty Bay Elec-
tric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the
purpose of extending, improving, adding to and reinforcing
the reticulation in the constituent districts of the Cook County
(including the Patutahi Town District), the Waikohu County,
the Waiapu County, and the city of Gisborne and for pur-
chasing equipment, plant, tools, instruments, motor vehicles,
land and the construction of buildings, the Poverty Bay
Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate
of one-tenth of a penny (¼d.) in the pound on the rate-

property in that portion of the Poverty Bay Electric Power
