TAUPO COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan 1966, £30,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taupo County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £30,000 authorised to be raised by Taupo County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Taupo County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one two eight one pence (·1281d.) in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Taupo; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Taupo County Council held on the 27th day of September 1966.

TAURANGA CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Aerodrome Loan 1965—First Issue, £100,000
ON 25 July 1966 Council passed the following resolution:
“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £100,000, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the above-mentioned Act for providing a hard-surfaced runway and improving the Tauranga Airport, the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one seven four pence (·174d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Tauranga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAIROA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Water Additional Loan 1966, £14,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wairoa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of £14,000 authorised to be raised by the Wairoa Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers in that behalf enabling it, for the purpose of meeting the additional cost for the completion of works yet to be carried out envisaged under the Water Loan 1961, £136,000 and the Water Loan 1964, £45,000, the said Wairoa Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two six eight of a penny (·268d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all local property of the Borough of Wairoa, comprising the whole of the Borough; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Wairoa Borough Council held on the 17th day of October 1966.

WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Housing Loan No. 2, 1966—£12,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Counties Act 1956, the Wanganui County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £12,000, authorised to be raised by the Wanganui County Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting three workers’ dwellings, the said Wanganui County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought five nought one of a penny (·0501d.) in the pound upon the rateable capital value of all the rateable property comprising the whole of the County of Wanganui; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan,
and be payable yearly on the 15th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct extract from the minutes of proceedings of an ordinary meeting of the Wanganui County Council, held on Friday, the 14th day of October 1966.

KIWITEA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Bridges Renewal Loan, 1966—£7,650
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kiwitea County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of seven thousand six hundred and fifty pounds (£7,650), authorised to be raised by the Kiwitea County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the Council’s share of the cost of renewing the Mangarere suspension bridge, the Marton block bridge, and of completing the Council’s 1961–1966 bridge construction programme, the said Kiwitea County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·0621d. in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Kiwitea; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CARTERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sewerage Renewal Loan 1966, £8,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Carterton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £8,500 authorised to be raised by the Carterton Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for repaying on maturity that portion of the Sewerage Extension Loan 1956, £60,000 which matures on 1 November 1966, the Carterton Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·00214 of £1 upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Carterton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Carterton Borough Council on the 18th day of October 1966.

NELSON HARBOUR BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Special Rate Redemption Loan No. 2, 1966 of £6,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Nelson Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Redemption Loan No. 2, 1966 of £6,500 authorised to be raised by the Nelson Harbour Board for the purpose of supplementing the appropriate portion of the accumulated sinking fund of one thousand pounds so as to redeem at maturity that part of the Port Development Loan 1960 which matures on 1 December 1966, the said Nelson Harbour Board hereby makes the special rate of thirty-five ten-thousandths of a penny (35/10,000d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Nelson Harbour Board District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Nelson Harbour Board on the 17th day of October 1966.
