MOLYNEUX RABBIT BOARD

NOTICE OF SPECIAL RATE

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Molyneux Rabbit Board has resolved the 20th day of October 1966:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of five thousand pounds (£5,000) authorised to be raised by the Molyneux Rabbit Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting a house thereon or purchasing land and an existing house, the said Molyneux Rabbit Board hereby makes a special rate of 1·076 pence per acre on all the rateable property in the Molyneux Rabbit District, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public Notification of Proposed Changes to the Waipa County District Scheme—Section 6 (Rural)

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the Waipa County Council made on the 17th day of October 1966, changes to the Section 6 (Rural) of the Waipa County District Scheme as set out in the Schedule hereto have been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Copies of these changes have been deposited in the Council offices at Bank Street, Te Awamutu and the Land Registry Office at Hamilton, and are there open for inspection without fee to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the proposed changes or any part thereof shall be in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960 or to the like effect marked “Objection to District Scheme Change” and shall be lodged at the office of the County Council at any time not later than 14 December 1966.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the County Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.

SCHEDULE

Amendments to the Code of Ordinance:

  1. The provision for “roadside shops for the sale of the produce of the farm on which the shop is located” be deleted from the list of Conditional Uses for Rural Zones.

  2. A provision be added to Ordinance 13 allowing the Council to dispense with the requirements of the Code relating to the size of yards adjoining buildings subject to certain conditions.

BOROUGH OF MATAURA

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Change of the Borough of Mataura Operative District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Council made on the 19th day of July 1966, the Council has recommended that the operative district scheme be changed in respect of the matters in the Schedule hereto.

The changes of the district scheme, as now recommended by the Council, have been deposited in the Council offices, Mataura, and are there open for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time when the offices are open to the public.

Objections to the proposed changes of the district scheme may be made by way of written notice in form E, prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect, marked “Objection to Scheme Change”, and lodged at the office of the Council at any time, no later than Friday, 9 December 1966. An appropriate form for use of objectors is available from the Council offices, or will be posted upon request.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections, if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

(a) Any industry falling within appendix B of this code, if, in the opinion of the Council, the process or operation is so modified as to preclude every element of noxiousness or danger in relation to adjacent properties and undertakings;

(b) Retail shops serving the locality; and

(c) Use of a rear site for any use permitted in this zone.

HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Northern Section of Hutt County District Scheme Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme, under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for the northern section was approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 6th day of October 1966, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of, and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed, and all amendments of the district scheme required by the Board had been incorporated.

The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of November 1966.

Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council’s office and in every public library in the district and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY

SPECIAL ORDER

THE Auckland Regional Authority in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, section 42, and in pursuance of the authority conferred upon it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and in exercise of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, doth hereby resolve, by special resolution intended to operate as a special order, to borrow the sum of £170,000 (one hundred and seventy thousand pounds) as a special loan, to be known as Bulk Water Supply Loan No. 9, 1966, £170,000, for the purpose of meeting costs and expenses of and incidental to the construction of preliminary works for the Lower Huia Headworks Development and related works in the Waitakere Water Supply Reserve.

The foregoing special order was made by way of a special resolution passed at a special meeting of the Authority held on 19 September 1966. It was publicly notified in the Auckland Star on the 22nd day of September 1966 and the 6th day of October 1966 and confirmed at the ordinary meeting of the Authority held on the 17th day of October 1966.

The common seal of the Auckland Regional Authority was hereunto affixed this 17th day of October 1966.
