MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Tokoroa Water Supply Redemption Loan (No. 1), 1966

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Matamata County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of seventeen thousand pounds (£17,000), authorised to be raised by the Matamata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity the portion of the Tokoroa Water Supply Loan (No. 1), 1956, £24,000, which matures on 1 December 1966, the said Matamata County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal seven five pence (0·75d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value of all rateable property in the Tokoroa water-supply No. 1 special rating area in the County of Matamata; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of June and 1st day of December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly-constituted meeting of the Matamata County Council, held on the 13th day of October 1966.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Wellington City Housing (Batchelor Street) Loan 1966, of £35,000

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 3rd day of October 1966:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of thirty-five thousand pounds (£35,000), to be known as the Wellington City Housing (Batchelor Street) Loan 1966, of £35,000 authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting accommodation for old people, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought seven of a penny (·007d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of forty (40) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NELSON CITY COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Nelson City Council hereby resolves that, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £40,000, to be known as the Works Depot Loan 1966, authorised to be raised by the Nelson City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing a council works-depot, including the provision of buildings, bins, etc., and incidental expenses, the Nelson City Council hereby make and levies a special rate of 0·08525 pence in the pound upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value, of all the rateable property in the City of Nelson, comprising the whole of the said City; and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until such loan is paid off.

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed by the Nelson City Council at a meeting held in the City Council Chambers, Trafalgar Street, Nelson, on 13 October 1966.

PASSED by Council at a meeting on 10 October 1966: “That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000, authorised to be raised by the Alexandra Borough Council in its capacity as urban fire authority, under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of building a fire station, the said Alexandra Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 1½₀ of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Alexandra; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Rural Water Supply No. 2 Loan, of £50,000, 1966

“THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waipara County Council hereby resolves that, for the purpose of providing annual loan charges on a loan of £50,000, to be known as the Rural Water Supply No. 2 Loan, 1966, of £50,000, authorised to be raised by the Waipara County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting part of the costs of constructing works to provide a rural water supply in the western area of the Waipara County and incidental expenses in connection therewith, the said Waipara County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point one nought nine (·109d.) of a penny in the pound on the capital value of all rateable property in the Waipara County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

(b) Retail shops on Sections 15/17 and Lot 1, D.P. 9331, Block 4, Town of Queenstown, Athol Street frontage. The land described in (a) and (b) is contiguous.
