Authorising Watene Waenga, Farmer, of Cape Runaway, to
Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines

At the Government House at Wellington this 5th day of

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby authorises Watene Waenga,
farmer, Cape Runaway (hereinafter referred to as the licensee),
subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in
the Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by
    the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical
    Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated in, and shall
    form part of, this licence, except in so far as the same may
    be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
2. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance
by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935,
the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference
Regulations 1958, and with all regulations made in amendment
thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.

SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
3. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph
(d) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations
1935, and shall be an alternating current system.

DURATION OF LICENCE
4. Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1987, or until a
supply of electricity is available from an electric power
board or other public source of supply, whichever is the
earlier.

SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of
supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee's
generator and proceeding in a southerly direction across the
Opotiki-Te Araroa highway to the licensee's residence.
All being situated in Whangaparaoa 1B 2B, No. 1 Block,
Block III, Whangaparaoa Survey District in the County of
Opotiki; the said lines all being shown on plan marked
N.Z.E.D. 709 deposited in the office of the New Zealand
Electricity Department at Wellington.
