All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands, if they have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objection in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, on the 6th day of October 1966, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

ALL that piece of land containing eight (8) acres and thirty-one (31) perches situated in Block XIII of Tuhua Survey District, being part Ohura South A 3E 2C 3B 3C 2C 2B 1A, shown coloured blue on the said plan; situated in the Taringamotu Valley Road, Taumarunui County.

SECOND SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land containing ten decimal six (10·6) perches situated in Block XIII of Tuhua Survey District, being part Ohura South A 3E 2C 3B 3C 2C 2B 1A, shown coloured sepia on the said plan; situated in the Taumarunui County on the Taringamotu Valley Road, being part of the Jurgens Road Deviation.

TAUMARUNUI COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CHANGE PURPOSE FOR WHICH LAND IS HELD

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, notice is hereby given that the Taumarunui County Council holds the land described in the Schedule hereto for a public work, namely, the construction of an aerodrome, and that the Taumarunui County Council desires to change the purpose for which the said land is held. The Taumarunui County Council desires that the said land be henceforth held for the purpose of constructing a road.

And notice is hereby further given that the plans of the land affected are deposited at the public office of the said Council, situated at Miriama Street, Taumarunui, and are open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary business hours.

All persons affected by the change of purpose, if they have any well-grounded objection to the change of purpose, must state their objection in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, on the 6th day of October 1966, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

SCHEDULE

THAT piece of land containing one (1) acre eight decimal five (8·5) perches situated in Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District, South Auckland Land District, being part Ohura South A, No. 3E 2C 3B, No. 3C 2A, and being part of the land in provisional register, Volume 131, folio 26, South Auckland Registry, as the same is more particularly shown, coloured yellow, on the aforesaid plan; situated in the Taumarunui County, being part Jurgens Road Deviation.

CITY OF PAPATOETOE

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papatoetoe City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of eight thousand four hundred pounds (£8,400), authorised to be raised by the Papatoetoe City Council under the above-named Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Street Improvement Loan 1953 which matures on the 1st day of November 1966, the said Papatoetoe City Council hereby makes a special rate of point nought five five pence (·055d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Papatoetoe; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 6 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CITY OF PAPATOETOE

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papatoetoe City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of five thousand eight hundred pounds (£5,800), authorised to be raised by the Papatoetoe City Council under the above-named Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Town Hall Extension and Improvement Loan 1955 which matures on the 1st day of November 1966, the said Papatoetoe City Council hereby makes a special rate of point nought two nought four pence (·0204d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Papatoetoe; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WHAKATANE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sewerage Renewal Loan 1966, £6,400

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whakatane Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing for the annual charges on a loan of six thousand four hundred pounds (£6,400), authorised to be raised by the Whakatane Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Sewerage Loan 1954, £162,000, which mature on 1 and 14 October 1966, the said Whakatane Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought five pence (·05d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the Borough of Whakatane; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 10 years, or until such loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Whakatane Borough Council held on the 7th day of October 1966.

WHAKATANE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sewerage Additional Loan 1966, £10,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whakatane Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000), authorised to be raised by the Whakatane Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the additional cost of carrying out the works for which the Sewerage Loan 1964 was sanctioned, the said Whakatane Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought seven five pence (·075d.) in the pound (£) upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property over the whole of the Borough of Whakatane; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the said loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Whakatane Borough Council, held on the 18th day of August 1966.

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

General Off-Street Parking Loan 1966

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £400,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land, together with any improvements thereon, to provide sites for off-street parking, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·460d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on Monday, 26 September 1966.
