CITY OF AUCKLAND

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

CERTIFIED copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the
Auckland City Council, held on the 21st day of September
1966:

“That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954
and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and
amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other
powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council
hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of forty-seven thousand two hundred
pounds (£47,200), to be known as the Redemption Loan No.
32, 1966, £47,200, which amount is proposed to be raised
by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned
Acts for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions
of the Purchase of Properties Loan 1960, £250,000, and the
Destructor Loan 1960, £235,000, which mature on 1 October
and 1 November 1966 respectively, and the cost of raising
the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of three-fiftieths of one penny (³⁄₅₀ of
1d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis
of the annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland
City, comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and
that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly,
on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the
currency of the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid
off.”

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners’ Flats Loan 1966, £33,250

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount
Roskill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a
loan of thirty-three thousand two hundred and fifty pounds
(£33,250), authorised to be raised by the Mount Roskill
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of purchase of land and building of further pen-
sioners’ flats in the Borough of Mount Roskill and meeting
cost incidental thereto, the said Mount Roskill Borough
Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three
four pence (·034d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value
(on the basis of unimproved value) on all rateable property
in the Borough of Mount Roskill; and that the special rate
shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of
the said loan, and be paid yearly on the 1st day of April
in each and every year during the currency of the said loan,
being a period of forty (40) years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.”

Passed at a meeting of Council held on the 13th day
of September 1966.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Franklin County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of fifty thousand pounds (£50,000), autho-
rised to be raised by the Franklin County Council under the
above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances
to farmers, in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the
Franklin County Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of decimal nought eight one pence (·081d.) in the
pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved
value) of all rateable property in the County of Franklin;
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of October in each and every year until such
loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the
Franklin County Council held on the 27th day of September
1966.

BOROUGH OF MATAMATA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Improvement Loan 1966, £24,100

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Matamata Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £24,100, authorised to be raised by the Matamata
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for repay-
ment of part of the Water Supply Improvement Loan 1955,
the said Matamata Borough Council hereby makes a special
rate of 0·741d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all
rateable property within the Matamata Borough; and that
the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan and being a period of 10 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Council held on 3 October 1966.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Primary Sewage Treatment Plant Loan 1963, £430,000—Third
Instalment, of £200,000

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its
amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto
enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby
resolve as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of two hundred thousand pounds (£200,000), autho-
rised to be raised by the Palmerston North City Council
under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the
construction of a primary sewage treatment plant on land at
Awapuni, the said Palmerston North City Council hereby
makes a special rate of twenty-six one-hundredths of a penny
(0·26d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (upon
the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
of the City of Palmerston North; and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the
loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each
and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of the resolution passed by the Palmerston North City
Council on the 26th day of September 1966.

RANGIORA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Blackett Street Stormwater Drain Loan 1966, £8,500

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Rangiora Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of paying the annual charges on a
loan of £8,500, being the Blackett Street Stormwater Drain
Loan 1966, of £8,500, authorised to be raised by the Rangiora
Borough Council under the above Act for the purpose of
providing stormwater drainage in the borough, the Rangiora
Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one
five seven two pence (·1572d.) in the £ upon the rateable
value of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough
of Rangiora; and that such special rate be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20)
years, or until the loan is paid off.”
