Appointment of Honorary Harbourmaster

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby appoints

Richard Victor Cross

to be Harbourmaster for all the waters of the sea contained within a right line drawn in a 109° true direction from the easternmost point of Cockle Bay 36° 54·20′ south, 174° 57·25′ east, and all the waters of Maungamaungaroa Stream and Turanga Creek, City of Manukau; the appointment to take effect from 1 September 1966.

The appointment of a Harbourmaster for Maungamaungaroa Stream, made on 12 February 1964, Gazette, 20 February 1964, p. 217, is revoked.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964

———

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes the order dated 2 September 1966† relating to the undermentioned driver and hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 16 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provisions shall apply:

A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964* to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
