NAPIER CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Napier City Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, to widen portion of Carlyle Street in the City of Napier, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the First Schedule hereto is required to be taken for street; and also, deeming it expedient in connection with the said public work, proposes to take, under the provisions of section 191 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Tennyson Street, Napier, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons, during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work, or by the taking of such land, who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Tennyson Street, Napier.

COUNTY OF STRATFORD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan No. 11, 1966—£20,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Counties Act, and all other Acts and powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Stratford County Council hereby resolves that, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, repayment of principal, and other charges on the Rural Housing Loan No. 11, 1966—£20,000, to be raised by the Stratford County Council, the said County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 5½ pence in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Stratford; and the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Stratford County Council held on 19 August 1966.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Stratford County Council hereby resolved as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £5,600, to be known as the Stratford County Council Croydon Road Metalling Loan 1966, to be raised by the Stratford County Council under the above-mentioned Act, the Stratford County Council hereby makes a special rate of eight and five-sixteenths pence in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
