DARGAVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and
to each and every power it thereunto enabling, for the purpose
of providing the annual charges on a loan of £2,800, described
as the Filtration Plant Supplementary Loan 1966, and author-
ised to be raised by the Dargaville Borough Council under
the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the
purpose for which the Filtration Plant Loan 1963, £28,000,
was sanctioned, the body corporate called the Mayor, Coun-
cillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Dargaville hereby
makes a special rate of decimal nought eight six of a penny
(·086d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable
property in the Borough of Dargaville, on the basis of the
unimproved value; such special rate to be an annually recur-
ring rate during the currency of the loan, and to be payable
yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during
the currency of the loan, being 20 years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Worker’s Dwelling Loan 1963, £5,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Hobson County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of £5,000, authorised to be raised by the Hobson County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
purchasing land and an existing house, or purchasing land
and erecting a house thereon, the said Hobson County
Council hereby makes a special rate of one-sixteenth of a
penny (¹⁄₁₆) in the pound on the unimproved value of
all rateable property in the County of Hobson; and that the
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 20th day
of August in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.”

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Hobson County Council held on the 19th day of August
1966.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1966, £15,000—First Instalment of £6,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waipawa County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of six thousand pounds (£6,000), authorised to be raised
by the Waipawa County Council under the above-mentioned
Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers for housing,
under the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Waipawa County
Council hereby makes a special rate of one hundred and
sixty-four ten-thousandths (164/10,000) of a penny in the £
upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the County
of Waipawa; and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable
yearly on the 15th day of August in each year and every year
during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.”

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Thames County Council resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £4,000, authorised to be raised by the Thames
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of erecting or purchasing a house in Whangamata
to be let to a Council employee, the said Thames County
Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·0594 pence in the
pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property
within the County of Thames; and that the special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan,
and shall be payable yearly on the 20th day of August in
each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a
period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Thames County Council held on the 18th day of August

Borough Council has resolved as follows:

loan of £5,000, authorised to be raised by the Tawa Borough
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of

land and an existing house, for an employee, the said Tawa

the £ upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the
whole of the Borough of Tawa; and that the special rate shall

and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of March and
the 1st day of September in each and every year during the
