of the land in certificate of title, Volume 83, folio 136,
Wellington Registry, situate on Feilding Road, Ashhurst, and
the said Council intends to take that portion of the said land
containing 0.3 of a perch, coloured orange, edged orange,
on the said plan, for the purposes of road.
The plans of the said parcels of land are deposited at the
public office of the Oroua County Council, Manchester
Street, Feilding, and are there open for inspection by all
persons at all reasonable hours. All persons affected by the
taking of the said parcels of land for roading are hereby
required and called upon to set forth in writing any objections
to the execution of the works, or to the taking of the said
parcels of land, not being an objection to the amount or
payment of compensation, and to send such writing within
forty (40) days after the first publication of this notice to
the Oroua County Council, Manchester Street, Feilding.
This notice was first published on the 17th day of August
1966.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Waterworks Extension Loan 1966, £175,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans
Act 1956, the Rotorua City Council hereby resolves as
follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of one hundred and seventy-five thousand pounds
(£175,000), to be known as the Rotorua City Council Water-
works Extension Loan 1966 of One Hundred and Seventy-
five Thousand Pounds (£175,000), authorised to be raised by
the Rotorua City Council under the above-mentioned Act
for the purpose of constructing a reservoir and transfer
main and extending reticulation in the City, the Rotorua
City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal three
nine nine pence (.399d.) in the pound on the rateable value
(on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable
property within the City of Rotorua; and that such special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April
in each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid
off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Museum Loan 1966, £7,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans
Act 1956, the Rotorua City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of seven thousand pounds (£7,000), to be known as
the Rotorua City Council Museum Loan 1966 of Seven
Thousand Pounds (£7,000), authorised to be raised by the
Rotorua City Council under the above-mentioned Act for
the purpose of converting a property owned by the Council
in Tutanekai Street, Rotorua, to a museum, the Rotorua
City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought
two one pence (.021d.) in the pound on the rateable value
(on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable pro-
perty within the City of Rotorua; and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in
each and every year during the currency of such loan, being
a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Parks Extensions and Development Loan 1966, £71,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans
Act 1956, the Rotorua City Council hereby resolves as
follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of seventy-one thousand pounds (£71,000), to be
known as the Rotorua City Council Parks Extensions and
Development Loan 1966 of Seventy-one Thousand Pounds
(£71,000), authorised to be raised by the Rotorua City
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
purchasing lands, developing playing areas, and erecting
buildings in city reserves, the Rotorua City Council hereby
makes a special rate of decimal one nine nine pence (.199d.)
in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the
unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City
of Rotorua; and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of
30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Airport Loan 1966, £20,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956,
the Rotorua City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of twenty thousand pounds (£20,000), to be known as the
Rotorua City Council Airport Loan 1966 of twenty thousand
pounds (£20,000), authorised to be raised by the Rotorua
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of meeting the Council's share of the additional cost of
establishing an airport at Rotokawa, the Rotorua City Council
hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought four nine
pence (.049d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on
the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
within the City of Rotorua, and that such special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan,
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Eastern Area Water Supply Redemption Loan 1966, £21,800
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £21,800, authorised to be raised by the Rotorua
County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the
provision of a water supply to the eastern area of the
Rotorua County, viz, Lynmore, Owhata, Holden's Bay, Han-
nah's Bay, and lands in the vicinity of these areas, the said
Rotorua County Council hereby makes a special rate of
1.174d. (one decimal one seven four pence) in the £ (pound)
upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property
of the eastern area water supply special rating district, com-
prising the area described in the special roll prepared in
accordance with Part II of the Local Authorities Loans'
Regulations 1957/28 on 15 November 1960, and a plan of
the eastern area water supply special rating district deposited
in the county office, Amohau Street, Rotorua; and that the
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 2nd day
of October in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The foregoing is certified to be a true and correct copy of
a resolution passed at a duly-constituted meeting of the Roto-
rua County Council, held on the 9th day of August 1966.
