MANUKAU CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Renewal Loan (No. 1) 1966, £55,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of £55,000, authorised to be raised by the Manukau City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Manukau County Council’s Roads Improvement Special Area Loan No. 2, 1955, £30,000, Sanitary Conveniences and Dressing Sheds Loan 1952, £28,000, and the County Halls Loan 1960, £32,000, which mature on 1 September 1966 (first three loans) and 11 September 1966, within the City of Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five two pence (·052d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the City of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I, Ronald Wood, Town Clerk of the Manukau City Council, hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Manukau City Council held on the 11th day of August 1966.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Renewal Loan (No. 2) 1966, £55,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of £55,000, authorised to be raised by the Manukau City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Manukau County Council’s Sewerage Reticulation Loan 1960, £850,000, which mature on 11 September 1966 and 14 November 1966, within the City of Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought four pence (·04d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the City of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I, Ronald Wood, Town Clerk of the Manukau City Council, hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Manukau City Council held on the 11th day of August 1966.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Renewal Loan (No. 3) 1966, £78,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of £78,000, authorised to be raised by the Manukau City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Manukau County Council’s Roading Loan 1961, £70,000, Water Reticulation Loan 1961, £250,000, and Pakuranga Water-supply Reticulation Loan No. 2, 1956, £32,400, which mature on 1 February 1967 (first two loans) and 1 March 1967, within the City of Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought seven four pence (·074d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the City of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of nineteen (19) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

KAIKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Municipal Building Loan 1966
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kaikohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty thousand pounds (£20,000), authorised to be raised by the Kaikohe Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting municipal chambers and council offices, and providing furnishings, the said Kaikohe Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of nineteen thirty-seconds pence (1⁹⁄₃₂d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Kaikohe Borough district, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of June and the 1st day of December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Kaikohe Borough Council on the 18th day of August 1966.

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Roads Completion Loan 1966, £22,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of twenty-two thousand five hundred pounds (£22,500) authorised to be raised by the Mount Roskill Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for repayment of £22,500, borrowed for roading purposes, due and payable on the 19th day of October 1966, the said Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought six three one pence in the pound (·0631d. in the £) upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Roskill, and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being for a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
Passed at a meeting of Council held on the 16th day of August 1966.

TAKAPUNA CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Streets Improvements Redemption Loan No. 3, 1966—£12,000
IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Takapuna City Council resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the Streets Improvements Redemption Loan No. 3, 1966—£12,000, authorised to be raised by the Takapuna City Council by way of special loan under the local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Streets Improvements Loan, 1952—£200,000, which matures on 1 October 1966, the Takapuna City Council makes a special rate of decimal nought three four pence (·034d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all the rateable property in the City of Takapuna; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be repayable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Takapuna City Council held on the 16th day of August 1966.
