PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, and comprised in roadways laid out by the Maori Land Court, by an order dated the 26th day of March 1954, to be street.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 21st day of February 1964, and published in the Gazette, 12 March 1964, Volume I, at page 461, and registered as No. 588263, Wellington Land Registry, taking land for river-protection purposes, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 3·98 perches situated in Block XIV, Akatarawa Survey District, Wellington R.D., and being part Lot 1, D.P. 8072, being part Section 123, Hutt District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 20628 (S.O. 26574) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 23rd day of June 1965, published in Gazette, 22 July 1965, Volume II, page 1162, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Hamilton as No. S. 321266, taking land for sanitary works in the City of Hamilton.

PURSUANT to section 39 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint:

John William Kealy, Esquire, of Auckland, Stipendiary Magistrate, being a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New Zealand;

Joseph Walter Pountney Watts, Esquire, of Wellington, being a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New Zealand;

William Francis McArthur, Esquire, of Christchurch, being a person nominated by the Executive Committee of the New Zealand Counties Association Incorporated; and

Edgar Whittleston, Esquire, of Dunedin, being a person nominated by the Executive Committee of the Municipal Association of New Zealand Incorporated;

to be members of the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board from and including the 8th day of July 1966; and I hereby appoint the said John William Kealy as Chairman of the Board, and the said Joseph Walter Pountney Watts as Deputy Chairman of the Board.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 5th day of July 1966.
