And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the clerk of the said council, situated in the Council Chambers 68-70 Greys Avenue, Auckland, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.

Every person affected by the proposal shall set forth in writing any objections he may wish to make to the execution of the work or to the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and shall send such written objection within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the county clerk at the Council Chambers. A public hearing of such objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Lot 10, D.P. 49045, being part Allotment 111, Parish of Takapuna, containing an area of 316 perches, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 1924, folio 30.

DARGAVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and to each and every power it thereunto enabling, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £1,916. 10s., described as Kaihu Valley Railway Loan 1964, and authorised to be raised by the Dargaville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing bridges and land from the New Zealand Railways Department, the body corporate, called the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the borough of Dargaville, hereby makes a special rate of decimal one seven (017d.) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the borough of Dargaville, on the basis of the unimproved value, such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and to be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PAPATOETOE CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956; the Papatoetoe City Council resolves as follows:

"That for the purpose of providing for annual charges on a loan of thirty thousand and six hundred pounds (£30,600) authorised to be raised by the Papatoetoe City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of financing the cost of erecting accommodation for aged persons, the said Papatoetoe City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought eight nine six six pence (08966d.) in the £ on the rateable value of all rateable property in the city of Papatoetoe; and that such special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of the loan, repayable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until such loan is fully paid off."

OTAMATEA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Maungaturoto Centennial Hall Loan 1965, £12,500

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otamatea County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £12,500 authorised to be raised by the Otamatea County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting part of the cost of a community centre district hall in Maungaturoto, the said Otamatea County Council hereby makes a special rate of one decimal six (1·6) pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property (based on the unimproved value) in the Maungaturoto Community Centre District in the County of Otamatea; and that the special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Otamatea County Council held on Wednesday, 20 July 1966.

THAMES BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Fire Service Loan 1966, £24,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956; the Thames Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £24,000 authorised to be raised by the Thames Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a new fire station, social hall, and hose-drying tower, the purchase of an adjoining property and the erection thereon of a new residence and garage for the fire-station keeper, the said Thames Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·34 pence in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Thames; and that such special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Thames Borough Council held on the 27th day of July 1966.

ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Airport Loan 1966, £15,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £15,000 authorised to be raised by the Rotorua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the Council’s share of the additional cost of establishing an airport at Rotokawa, the said Rotorua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·0468d. in the £ (decimal zero four six eight pence in the pound) on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Rotorua; and that the special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution of the Rotorua County Council, passed at its meeting held on the 26th day of July 1966.

UPPER HUTT CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Stormwater Drainage Supplementary Loan 1966, £16,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Upper Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing for the annual charges on a loan of £16,000 authorised to be raised by the Upper Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Stormwater Drainage Loan 1960, of £160,000, was sanctioned, the said Upper Hutt City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·058 in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the city of Upper Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully repaid."

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Upper Hutt City Council held on the 26th day of July 1966.
