Public Notification of Change No. 5 to the No. 1 Section of the Cook County District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Cook County Council made on the 23rd day of June 1966, Change No. 5 to the operative No. 1 section of the district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The Change relates to changes to the code of ordinances. The Change has been deposited in the Council’s offices, the office of the District Land Registrar, and the Turanganui Public Library, in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act, and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the change or to any part thereof shall be in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than the 22nd day of August 1966. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the County Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.

Change of the City of Whangarei District Scheme—Eighth Series

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the council made on the 6th day of July 1966, the council recommended that the operative district scheme be changed in respect of the matters listed in the Schedule hereto.

The changes of the district scheme, as now recommended by the council, have been deposited in the Town Hall, the Whangarei Public Library, and the Kamo branch thereof, and are there open for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the proposed changes of the district scheme may be made by way of written notice in form C, prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or the like effect, marked “Objection to Scheme Change”, and lodged at the office of the council at any time not later than the 2nd day of September 1966. An appropriate form for use by objectors is available from the Town Hall, the Whangarei Public Library, or the Kamo branch thereof.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the council in writing within a period of which notice will be given.

Change of the City of Whangarei District Scheme Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned change to the district scheme, under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for the city of Whangarei, was approved by the council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 6th day of July 1966.

The council has also resolved that the under-mentioned change to the district scheme shall come into operation on the 18th day of July 1966.

Copies of the scheme change as approved have been deposited in the council’s office, the Whangarei Public Library, and the Kamo branch thereof, and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires, at any time when these places are open to the public.

District Town Planning Scheme, Section “A”, Invitation for Inclusion in Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Alexandra Borough Council, at its meeting held on the 15th day of November 1965, resolved to prepare for the Bridge Hill area of the Alexandra Borough a district scheme to be known as section “A” of the Alexandra District Town Plan, as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person concerned and every local authority in the district, as defined by section 2 of the Act, is hereby invited to submit full information as to the proposals which in his or its opinion should be considered in the preparation of the scheme.

Proposals marked “Alexandra District Scheme, Section A” should be addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered to the Borough Office on or before the 7th day of November 1966.

District Scheme Changes Nos. 1 and 2

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, and of the regulations made thereunder, notice is hereby given that Scheme Changes Nos. 1 and 2 as set out in the Schedule were finally approved by resolution of Council, on 4 July 1966, to become operative on the 15th day of July 1966.

SCHEDULE

Scheme Change No. 1—Residential land fronting Helena Street and Macandrew Road, and Commercial B land fronting Hillside Road, to be designated “Proposed Public Reserve”, and land fronting Helena Street to be rezoned from “Residential” to “Commercial B”, as shown on plan of Scheme Change No. 1.

Scheme Change No. 2—Residential land, being part Lot 7, D.P. 858, containing 26·75 perches, known as 17 Wales Street, to be designated “Public Reserve”, to be used with, and form part of, the Bishopscourt Reserve, as shown on plan of Scheme Change No. 2.

Copies of the plans showing the scheme changes as approved have been deposited in the Town Clerk’s Office, Municipal Chambers, and in the Public Library, Dunedin, and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.
