NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
——
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, notice is hereby given that the Auckland Regional Authority proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a building for its public offices for holding its meetings and transacting its business and for the use of its officers and for any other purpose approved by the Authority and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited at the office of the Auckland Regional Authority situated up to 30 June 1966 at Rexall House, at the corner of Customs Street West and Albert Street, Auckland, and situated after 30 June 1966 at the Authority’s offices at 121 Hobson Street, Auckland, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of the said works or to the taking of the said lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Auckland Regional Authority at its address stated above.
If any objection is made as aforesaid, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of hearing.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land situate in the City of Auckland containing sixteen decimal four (16·4) perches, more or less, being part of Allotments 1, 2, and 22 of Section 38, City of Auckland.
The said land has frontages to Wellesley and Hobson Streets, and is known as Pacific Place.
The present owner is believed to be one John Campbell, but as neither he nor his personal representatives or agent are known, this notice is intended also to be a public notification under section 3 (3) of the Public Works Act 1928.

OTOROHANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR FLOOD PROTECTION WORKS
——
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, public notice is hereby given by the Otorohanga Borough Council that, pursuant to a resolution of the Waikato Valley Authority, dated the 24th day of May 1961, directing the Otorohanga Borough Council to undertake flood protection works for the protection of the Borough of Otorohanga, it proposes to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, the under-mentioned pieces of land for river protection works; and notice is hereby given that a plan showing the said pieces of land is on view and open to inspection at the office of the Council, at the address set out below, during ordinary business hours; and notice is further given that all persons affected by the taking of the said pieces of land for river protection works should set forth in writing any objection they may wish to make to the taking of the said pieces of land, not being an objection to the amount of compensation and send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Otorohanga Borough Council, Council Chambers, Maniapoto Street, Otorohanga.
SCHEDULE
(a) All that piece of land situated in the County of Otorohanga containing 39 perches, more or less, being the block called Orahiri No. 1, Section 30B, Lot 6, shown on Plan M.L. 18122, and being part of the land in a partition order of the Maori Land Court, dated the 28th day of February 1958.
(b) All that piece of land situate as aforesaid containing 38·9 perches, more or less, being the block called Orahiri No. 1, Section 30B, Lot 8, shown on Plan M.L. 18122, and being part of the land in a partition order of the Maori Land Court, dated the 28th day of February 1958.

HUTT RIVER BOARD

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
——
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and in the matter of the River Boards Act 1908, notice is hereby given that the Hutt River Board, a board duly constituted under the provisions of the River Boards Act 1908 and being a local authority within the meaning of the Public Works Act 1928, proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a public work, namely, river work and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken for river protection purposes, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken being Survey Office Plan Number 25694 is deposited at the offices of the Board at Winslow Chambers, Margaret Street, Lower Hutt, and is there open for inspection by all persons, without fee, during ordinary office hours. All persons who are affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands who have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands should state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Secretary, Hutt River Board, Lower Hutt, at the above address.

(1) All that piece of land containing 28 acres 1 rood, more or less, being part of Section 189 of the Hutt District, and being part of the land contained and described in certificate of title, Volume 304, folio 267 (Wellington Registry), as the same is more particularly shown coloured blue on Survey Office Plan No. 25694.
(2) All that piece of land containing 5 acres 1 rood 29·3 perches, being part of Section 189 of the Hutt District, and being part of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 304, folio 267 (Wellington Registry) as the same is more particularly shown coloured blue on Survey Office Plan. No. 25694.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE of intention to take land for soil conservation and river-control purposes in the Invercargill, Forest Hill, and Mabel Hundreds.
Notice is hereby given that the Southland Catchment Board proposes to carry out certain river-control works on the Makarewa River, including the straightening of portions thereof, and that, in pursuance of the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, the said Board proposes to take the several pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto for such purposes.
And notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the office of the said Board, Spey Street, Invercargill, and are there open for inspection without fee, and that all persons affected by the execution of such works or the taking of such lands should, if they have any objections to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within 40 days from the date of this notice (being the date of first publication thereof) to the said Board’s office at the above address (postal address: P.O. Box 408, Invercargill).
