“(2) Electric lines and electric works which may from time
to time be required for the transmission only of electrical
energy through the area of supply of the Whangarei City
Council, and to give a bulk supply of electrical energy
to the Whangarei City Council, along a route commencing at
the reserve at the rear of the Otangarei State housing area,
and proceeding thence generally along the Otangarei Stream to
a point adjacent to Waiatawa Road; thence south-westerly via
Mains Avenue, Lupton Avenue, Rust Avenue, and Porowini
Avenue; thence in a southerly direction to the boundary of
the area of supply of the Whangarei City Council; as the said
lines are shown by means of a blue line on the plan marked
N.Z.E.D. 713, deposited in the office of the New Zealand
Electricity Department at Wellington.

“(3) Electric lines and electric works which may from time
to time be required for the transmission only of electrical
energy through the area of supply of the Whangarei City
Council, commencing in the vicinity of the Whau Valley pump-
ing station, crossing Whau Valley Road in a southerly direction,
and also running in a westerly direction along the said Whau
Valley Road to the boundary of Whangarei City; as the said
lines are shown by means of blue lines on the plan marked
N.Z.E.D. 627, deposited as aforesaid.”

  1. The North Auckland Electric Power Board Electric Lines
    Licence 1958, Amendment No. 1†, is hereby revoked.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric
Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby makes the following order.


ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Wanganui-Rangitikei
    Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1966, Amend-
    ment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part
    of the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power Board Electric
    Lines Licence 1966* (hereinafter referred to as the principal
    order).

  2. The principal order is hereby amended by adding to para-
    graph 1 of the First Schedule the following:
    “and in the Order in Council dated the 18th day of May
    1966, and published in the Gazette on the 26th day of the
    same month, at page 844.”

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric
Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby makes the following order.


ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the South Canterbury Electric
    Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1958, Amendment No. 1,
    and shall be read together with and deemed part of the
    South Canterbury Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence
    1958* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

  2. The principal order is hereby amended by deleting clause
    6 thereof and substituting the following:
    “6. This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully deter-
    mined, continue in force until the 31st day of December
    1966”.

The Grey Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1966

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric
Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council hereby makes the following order.


ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Grey Electric Power
    Board Electric Lines Licence 1966.

  2. Subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, the Grey
    Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as the licensee)
    is hereby authorised to lay, construct, put up, place, and
    use electric lines and to construct electric works which
    may from time to time be required for the distribution and
    supply of electrical energy within the area of supply described
    in the Schedule hereto.

  3. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by
    the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical
    Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated herein and
    shall form part of this licence, except in so far as they may
    be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

  4. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance
    by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935,
    the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Inter-
    ference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations made in
    amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so
    far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this
    licence.

  5. The systems of supply shall be as described in para-
    graphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), and (h) of regulation
    21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.

  6. This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined,
    continue in force until the 31st day of March 1987.

  7. The Order in Council dated the 26th day of August
    1959, and published in the Gazette on the 27th day of the
    same month, at page 1186, authorising the licensee to erect
    and use electric lines and to construct electric works, is
    hereby revoked.

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents
to the Piako County Council stopping the portions of road
described in the Schedule hereto.
