Tauranga Colleges Board of Governors Order 1966

PURSUANT to section 50 of the Education Act 1964, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

1. (1) This order may be cited as the Tauranga Colleges Board of Governors Order 1966.
   (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1966.
2. The Board of Governors of Tauranga Boys College, Tauranga Girls College, Otumoetai College, and of any other secondary school for the time being placed under the control of that Board shall be known as the Tauranga Colleges Board of Governors and shall be constituted as follows:
   (a) One member appointed by the South Auckland Education Board:
   (b) Eight members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the schools, of which members at least two shall be men and at least two shall be women:
   (c) One member appointed by the Tauranga City Council.
3. The Tauranga College Board of Governors Order 1953* is hereby revoked.
