TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Rural Housing Loan 1966, £24,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £24,000 to be raised by the Taranaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the making of advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Taranaki County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nine seven one pence (·0971d.) in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property, comprising the whole of the County of Taranaki; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 4th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

KAIAPOI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies Loans Act 1956, the Kaiapoi Borough Council hereby resolves:
“That, for the purpose of securing the interest and other charges on a loan of twenty-two thousand three hundred pounds (£22,300) authorised to be raised by the Kaiapoi Borough Council for the purpose of repaying portion of the debentures maturing in the Sewerage Loan No. 2, 1955, the said Kaiapoi Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal seven seven three five pence (·7735d.) in the pound on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the borough, which special rate shall be permanently appropriated and pledged for the purpose.”
It is hereby certified that the above resolution was passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Kaiapoi Borough Council held on Tuesday the 10th day of May 1966.

DUNEDIN DRAINAGE AND SEWERAGE BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Renewal Loan 1966 of £15,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a renewal loan of £15,500 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Drainage Extension Loan 1954 which matures on 15 June 1966, the said Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board hereby makes a special rate of 0·038d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin and the Borough of St. Kilda, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin and the Borough of St. Kilda; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of five (5) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board on the above-mentioned date.

HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL

SECURITY RATE
——
Sewer Loan No. 2, 1966, £163,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and sixty-three thousand five hundred pounds (£163,500) authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land for a sewage treatment site, together with land required as a buffer zone around the site, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of one hundred and seventy-six thousandths (·176) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the City of Hamilton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Hamilton City Council at a duly constituted meeting held on the 11th day of May 1966.

Pensioners’ Flats Loan 1965, £21,900
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-one thousand nine hundred pounds (£21,900) authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the Council’s share of the cost of constructing four blocks of pensioners’ flats, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of one hundred and thirty-one ten-thousandths (·0131d.) of a penny in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property within the City of Hamilton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 (thirty-five years) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Departure from New Lynn District Scheme
NOTICE is given, pursuant to regulation 32 (8) of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, that the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board has consented to a specified departure from the New Lynn District Scheme by permitting Jan Prinselaar and Spencer Tant to use, as a conditional use, the property situated at 3021 Great North Road, and described as Lot 40, on Deeds Plan 9, part Allotment 257, Parish of Waikomiti (C.T. 599/205), for the purpose of carrying on the business of licensed motor vehicle dealer, notwithstanding that such land is and shall remain zoned as Residential A, subject to the following conditions:
(a) The dwelling on the land to be moved to the rear of the section to a distance of 20ft from the rear boundary.
(b) The whole of the section to be sealed to the satisfaction of the Borough Engineer.

Public Notification of Change of the District Scheme—Area 1
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Howick Borough Council made on the 8th day of February 1966, a change of the District Scheme, Area 1, has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act, 1953. The scheme relates to:
Lot 2, D.P. 52389, Litten Road
The scheme has been deposited in the Howick Borough Council offices and the Howick Public Library in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act, and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.
The objections to the scheme or any part thereof shall be in writing on form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the offices of the council at any time not later than the 11th day of July 1966. At a later date every objection
