SECOND SCHEDULE

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT

COMMENCING at a point on the northern boundary of Block II, Tarawera Survey District approximately 4 chains east of the Waipunga River and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 1 mile 5 chains and passing in, into, through or over the following lands, etc., viz, part Tatara-a-Kina No. 9, being Maori Land all being situated in Block II, Tarawera Survey District, and terminating at a point on Tirau-Napier State Highway No. 5 approximately 4 chains south of I.T.V. shown on S.O. Plan 2837 (Hawke’s Bay Land District) situated in Block II, Tarawera Survey District, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses all situated in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, and shown on the plan marked M.O.W. 20261 (S.O. 43317) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 15th day of April 1966.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 9th day of May 1966

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Waitaki Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1958, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Waitaki Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1958* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

  2. The principal order is hereby amended by deleting Clause 5 thereof and substituting the following:

“5. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), (h), and (j) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935. The system of supply authorised under paragraph (j) aforesaid shall be a single-conductor earth-return system of 11,000 volts between conductor and earth, and the use thereof shall be subject to such terms and conditions as are from time to time laid down by the General Manager of the New Zealand Electricity Department.”

  1. The principal order is hereby further amended by adding the following words to the First Schedule:

“and in the Order in Council dated the 28th day of February 1966, and published in the Gazette on the 10th day of March 1966, at page 332.”

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Poverty Bay Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1966.

  2. Subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, the Poverty Bay Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as the licensee) is hereby authorised to lay, construct, put up, place, and use electric lines and to construct electric works which may from time to time be required for the distribution and supply of electricity within the area described in the Schedule hereto.
