PURSUANT to the Standards Act 1941 and regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 29 March 1966, amended the under-mentioned standard specifications by the incorporation of the amendments shown hereunder:

The Standards Act 1941—Amendment of Codes of Recommended Practice
PURSUANT to section 7 of the Standards Act 1941, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 30 March 1966, approved of the recommendation of the Standards Council that the under-mentioned codes of recommended practice, published by the N.Z. Standards Institute, be amended by the incorporation of the amendments shown hereunder:

CP 5:1954 Painting ..... No. 2.
CP 8:1956 The laying and fixing of aluminium roofing ..... No. 1.
CP 9:1957 The classification of roofing felts and the laying of built-up roofing (asphaltic bitumen) ..... No. 1.
NOTE—These amendments have the effect of converting the respective Codes of Recommended Practice into Standard Recommendations.
These amendments are at present being printed. Copies will be available, in due course, from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Private Bag, Wellington C.1.

The Standards Act 1941—Standard Specification Revoked
PURSUANT to the provisions of the Standards Act 1941 and regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 29 March 1966, revoked the under-mentioned standard specification:
NZSS 162:1949 Non-ignitable and self-extinguishing boards (with mineral base) for electrical purposes; being BS 737:1937. (Superseded by NZSS 2082:1966 and NZSS 2083:1966)

Approval of Red Reflectors for Motor Vehicles in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1956
PURSUANT to clause (2) of regulation 41 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Commissioner of Transport hereby approves, for the purposes of the said regulations, red reflectors of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
TAIL-LAMP assemblies incorporating red reflectors fitted as standard equipment to Holden motor vehicles and marked “Holden R6”.

Approval of Red Reflectors for Motor Vehicles In Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1956
PURSUANT to regulations 41 and 63 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Commissioner of Transport hereby approves, for the purposes of the said regulations, red reflectors of the make and type described in the schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
RED reflectors manufactured by Dear Distributing Co. Ltd. using approximately 6 sq. in. of wide angle flat top “Scotchlite” on a metal base marked “RP”.

PURSUANT to regulation 41 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Commissioner of Transport hereby approves, for the purposes of the said regulations, red reflectors of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
RED reflectors, of wide angle “Scotchlite” with the words “Haul by Road, Motrans” in white letters at one end leaving an area of Scotchlite without any marking of approximately 7 sq. in.
