A plan of the portions of land proposed to be taken is available for public inspection, without fee, at the office of the Wallace County Council, Otautau, and all persons objecting to the proposal must lodge their objections in writing within 40 days from the date of this notice (being the date of first publication) at the council’s office at the above address (postal address, P.O. Box 5, Otautau), and if any such objections shall be made, a public hearing of the objections will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Civic Centre Loan 1965, £280,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Napier City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of two hundred and eighty thousand pounds (£280,000) authorised to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of establishing and developing a Civic Centre, the said Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal four nine one (·491) of a penny (d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Electrical Reticulation Loan 1965, £75,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Napier City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of seventy-five thousand pounds (£75,000) authorised to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of improving the city’s electrical supply, the said Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal three two eight (·328) of a penny (d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

COUNTY OF HOROWHENUA
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties Act 1956 and amendments, and the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendments, and regulations thereunder, and all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Horowhenua County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000) authorised to be raised by the Horowhenua County Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of purchasing or erecting workers’ dwellings including the purchase of land therefor, the said Horowhenua County Council hereby makes a special rate of ·0292d. of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Horowhenua; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties Act 1956 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendments, and the Rural Housing Act 1939 and amendments, and regulations thereunder, and all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Horowhenua County Council resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-eight thousand pounds (£28,000) authorised to be raised by the Horowhenua County Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Horowhenua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·0731d. of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Horowhenua; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Land Purchase Loan No. 1, 1966, £106,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of £106,000 authorised to be raised by the Manukau City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land for housing purposes within the City of Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought seven nought nine pence (·0709d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the City of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
