IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Metropolitan Publishing Co. Ltd., notice is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 3rd day of March 1966, presented to the said Court by Standard Press Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at 25A Marion Street, Wellington, and carrying on business at Wellington and elsewhere as printers; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Wellington on Wednesday the 6th day of April 1966, at 10 a.m.; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
———

IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Bay of Islands County Council proposes, under the pro-

visions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a road within the County of Bay of Islands, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the clerk to the said council, situated in Albert Street, Kawakawa, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by and who have well grounded objections (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) to the execution of the said public work or the taking of such lands must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the 7th day of March 1966, being the day of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County Office, Albert Street, Kawakawa.

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and in the matter of a proposal to stop a piece of road in the County of Bay of Islands, public notice is hereby given that the Bay of Islands County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to stop the piece of road described in the Schedule hereto, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said pieces of road so proposed to be stopped is deposited in the public office of the clerk of the said council, situated in Albert Street, Kawakawa, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours from 7 March 1966 until 18 April 1966.

All persons objecting to the above proposal must lodge their objections in writing at the office of the council on or before the 18th day of April 1966.
