This order may be cited as the Ashburton Electric Power and Gas Board Electric Lines Licence 1965, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Ashburton Electric Power and Gas Board Electric Lines Licence 1965* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

The principal order is hereby amended by deleting the Schedule thereto and substituting the following:

(a) The Ashburton Electric Power District as defined in the following Proclamations:

The Southland Harbour Board Electric Lines Licence 1966

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 7th day of March 1966
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
LICENCE
-
This order may be cited as the Southland Harbour Board Electric Lines Licence 1966.

Subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, the Southland Harbour Board (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), is hereby authorised to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a) and (f) of regulation 21β01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.

This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 31st day of March 1987.
SCHEDULE

Underground cables for the transmission of electrical energy to the Island Port, commencing at the substation of the Bluff Borough Council in the Borough of Bluff at the intersection of Blackwater and Gore Streets and proceeding easterly across the intersection and then in a generally northerly direction to and along the western side of the access bridge to the island, the said cables being more particularly shown by means of a brown line on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 554, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department, at Wellington.

Electric lines for the purposes of street lighting commencing at a point adjacent to the said substation and proceeding in a northerly direction to and along the eastern side of the said access bridge, the said lines being more particularly shown by means of a green line on the said plan N.Z.E.D. 554.

The Otago Central Electric Power District Boundary Order 1966

PURSUANT to section 5A of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 (as inserted by section 3 of the Electric Power Boards Amendment Act 1963), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
-
This order may be cited as the Otago Central Electric Power District Boundary Order 1966.

The boundaries of the Otago Central Electric Power District are hereby altered so as to include therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, County of Lake, bounded by a line commencing at a point being the intersection of the left bank of the Dart River and the northern boundary of the Dart Survey District, and proceeding easterly along that boundary to the western boundary of the Earnslaw Survey District; thence northerly and easterly along the western and northern boundaries of that survey district to the eastern boundary of Run 18; thence generally southerly along the generally eastern boundaries of Runs 18 and 14 to the south-eastern corner of Run 14; thence generally southerly along the right banks of Upper Stony Creek and Stony Creek to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Run 346D; thence south-westerly to and along that boundary to the north-western corner of Run 12A; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of Run 346D to the right bank of Shepherds Hut Creek; thence westerly along that bank to the north-eastern shore of Lake Wakatipu; thence north-westerly along that shore to the south-eastern boundary of Section 7, Block IV, Glenorchy Survey District; thence south-westerly, north-westerly, and north-easterly along the south-eastern, south-western, and north-western boundaries of Section 7 aforesaid to the north shore of Lake Wakatipu; thence westerly and southerly along the northern and western shores of the said lake to the left bank of an unnamed creek, approximately 8 chains north of Trig. Station F, in Block II, Upper Wakatipu Survey District; thence westerly along that bank to the eastern boundary of Run 717; thence southerly, westerly, and north-westerly along the eastern, southern, and south-western boundaries of that Run and the south-western boundary of Run 716 to the north-western corner of Run 716; thence easterly along the northern boundary of that Run to a point due south of Trig. Station Sugar Loaf, in Block XII, Dart Survey District; thence due north to that Trig. Station; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundary of Section 2, Block XII, Dart Survey District and its production to the left bank of the Dart River; thence generally northerly along that bank to the point of commencement; as the same is more particularly shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 702 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington, and thereon outlined in red.

Sir Woolf Fisher, of Auckland,
Harold Iver Austad, Esq., M.B.E., of Wellington, and
Brigadier James Thomas Burrows, C.B.E., D.S.O., of Christchurch
to be members of the board of control constituted under that Act, for a term of three years on and from the 12th day of December 1965.
