for the purposes of such public work the right of way over
that part of the land described in the Schedule hereto, coloured
yellow on the plan hereinafter referred to, is required to be
taken, the form of the right of way to be in terms of the
Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act 1952 as enacted by
the Land Transfer Amendment Act 1961.

A plan showing the said right of way is open for inspection
at the offices of the Manukau City Council, situated at David
Nathan Park, Hill Road, Manurewa, and Otara Road, Otara.

Every person affected by the execution of the said public
works shall set forth in writing any objection he may wish
to make to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of the said right of way, not being an objection to the
amount or payment of compensation, and shall send the written
objection within forty (40) days of the first publication of
this notice to the Manukau City Council, David Nathan Park,
Hill Road, Manurewa, or Private Bag, Manurewa.

If any objection is made in accordance with this notice
a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the
objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised
of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situated in the City of Manukau con-
taining 3 roods 20·3 perches, more or less, being Lot 2,
Deposited Plan 35850, and being all the land comprised in
certificate of title, Volume 985, folio 248, North Auckland
Registry, situated at and known as No. 4 Alfriston Road,
Manurewa.

Redemption Loan No. 16, 1966, £7,000

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of seven thousand pounds (£7,000) autho-
ried to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the
above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on
maturity that portion of the Normandale Sewerage Loan No. 2, 1959,
£36,000, which matures on 15 April 1966, the said Lower Hutt
City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of
0·047d. in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis
of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of
Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be
incorporated and added to the consolidated special rate,
made pursuant to the provisions of section 108A of the Muni-
cipal Corporations Act 1954, and be payable yearly on or
about the 1st day of August in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or
until such time as the loan is paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on 28
February 1966.

Redemption Loan No. 17, 1966, £16,000

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of sixteen thousand pounds (£16,000)
authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under
the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on
maturity that portion of the Streets Reconstruction Loan No.
7, 1959, £49,350, which matures on 15 April 1966, the said
Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of one hundred and forty-two thousandths of a penny
(·142d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the
basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the
City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan
and be incorporated and added to the consolidated special rate,
made pursuant to the provisions of section 108A of the Muni-
cipal Corporations Act 1954, and be payable yearly on or
about the 1st day of August in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of 10 years, or until
such time as the loan is paid off.”

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand pounds (£25,000)
authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under
the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on
maturity those portions of the Reserves Development Loan
No. 7, 1960, £37,000, which mature on 1 June 1966, the said
Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of one hundred and forty thousandths of a penny
(·140d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the
basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the
City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and
be incorporated and added to the consolidated special rate,
made pursuant to the provisions of section 108A of the Muni-
cipal Corporations Act 1954, and be payable yearly on or
about the 1st day of August in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until
such time as the loan is paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Renewal Loan 1965, £82,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Timaru City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on
the loan of £82,000 to be known as the Renewal Loan 1965
authorised to be raised by the Timaru City Council under
the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing for
the repayment of those portions of the loans mentioned
below on the dates specified:

(a) £8,300 of the Western Extension Loan No. 2, 1954,
£23,000 on 1 March 1966,

(b) £33,000 of the Stormwater Drainage Loan 1954, £98,600
on 1 March 1966,

(c) £24,300 of the Sewer and Drainage Loan 1954, £93,000
on 1 March 1966,

(d) £2,400 of the Water Supply Loan 1954, £30,000 on
1 March 1966,

(e) £3,500 of the Reservoir Loan 1959, £28,500 on 1 March
1966,

(f) £2,800 of the Stormwater Drainage Loan 1959, £30,000
on 1 March 1966,

(g) £3,300 of the Theatre Purchase Loan 1961, £36,000 on
1 March 1966,

(h) £4,400 of the Drainage Loan 1960, £35,000 on 1 March
1966,

the said Timaru City Council hereby makes a special rate
of four hundred and twenty-one thousandths of a penny
(·421d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis
of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the
City of Timaru; and that the said special rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and
every year during the currency of the said loan, being a
period of 19 years, or until such loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Timaru
City Council held on the 28th day of February 1966.

that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Whakatane Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £10,000 authorised to be raised by the
Whakatane Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act
for the purpose of purchasing and developing land for
recreational purposes and providing playing field amenities
and conveniences, the Whakatane Borough Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of decimal point one four
pence (·14d.) in the £ (pound) upon the rateable unimproved
value of all rateable property in the Borough of Whakatane;
