EAST COAST BAYS BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———
Supplementary Roading Loan, £18,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
East Coast Bays Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £18,000 authorised to be raised by the East Coast
Bays Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for
the purpose of completing the purpose for which Roading
Loan No. 3, 1963, £18,000 was raised, the said East Coast
Bays Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of
decimal nought seven pence (·07d.) in the pound (£) upon
the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough
of East Coast Bays; and that such special rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and
be payable yearly on the 15th day of December in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being for a period
of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at a meeting of the East Coast Bays Borough Council held
on the 23rd day of February 1966.

STRATFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Electrical Works Extension Loan 1966, £15,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Strat-
ford Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £15,000 authorised to be raised by the Stratford
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, as the
Stratford Borough Council Electrical Works Extension Loan
1966, £15,000, for the purpose of supplying and distributing
electric power, the said Stratford Borough Council hereby
makes a special rate of 0·0012 of a pound (£) on the
rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved value of
all rateable property of the Borough of Stratford, comprising
the whole of the Borough of Stratford; and that such special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August
in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being
a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of the resolution passed at a special meeting of the Stratford
Borough Council held on Tuesday the 22nd day of February
1966.

NELSON HARBOUR BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Nelson Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
the Redemption Loan 1966 of £57,000 authorised to be raised
by the Nelson Harbour Board for the purpose of supple-
menting the appropriate portion of the accumulated sinking
fund of eleven thousand four hundred and forty pounds
(£11,440) and a cash redemption of one hundred and sixty
pounds (£160) so as to redeem at maturity those parts of
the Harbour Works Loan 1957 and Redemption Loan 1961,
which mature on 1 April and 1 August 1966, the said Nelson
Harbour Board hereby makes the special rate, previously
authorised by sections 6 and 7 of the Nelson Harbour Board
Empowering Acts of 1956 and 1948, of one third of a penny
(⅓d.) and three farthings (¾d.) in the pound respectively on
the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all
rateable property of the Nelson Harbour Board District;
and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of October in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a
resolution passed by the Nelson Harbour Board on the 21st
day of February 1966.

Changes to Section 3 of the City of Napier District Scheme
Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that the changes to
section 3 (Maraenui-Onekawa South) of the City of Napier
District Scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act
1953 were approved by the council by resolution passed
at its meeting held on the 7th day of March 1966.

The council has also resolved that the changes to the
scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of April
1966.

Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited
in the council’s offices and in the public library and may be
inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at
any time when these places are open to the public.

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned
changes to the district scheme under the Town and Country
Planning Act 1953 for the City of Whangarei, were approved
by the council by resolution passed at its meeting held on
the 2nd day of March 1966.

The council has also resolved that the under-mentioned
changes to the district scheme shall come into operation on
the 14th day of March 1966.

Copies of the scheme changes as approved have been
deposited in the council’s office and in the Public Library
and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so
requires at any time when these places are open to the public.
